    Loved this book!

Plus One by Aleatha Romig is a Rom-Com that is simply amazing. Aleatha has shown us her dark side and we loved it, now she wanted to show us her lighter side and let me tell you, she did not disappoint!! Aleatha has a way of writing Alpha males that you can't help but fall for and Duncan is definitely one of those Alphas! I had a five hour plane ride so I saved this book until then and I am so glad I did, I devoured it in those five hours and I couldn't feel bad about that if I wanted to. Kimbra, oh sweet, innocent Kimbra is what every heroine should be she is soft, shy and wild once her barriers come down. I think my favorite character is Grandma Helen, I hope I am half as cool as her when I become a grandma. All I can say is, I hope we get more of Leatha: The lighter side of Aleatha.

    An irresistible mess.

Duncan and Kimbra are a mess, but an irresistible one all the same. It was hard to stop laughing long enough to experience the next gem this clueless duo threw my way. He's the boss. - His fancy suits, unlimited funds and animal magnetism make him a catch, but his rep screams "Guard your heart." She's living the dream. - A job that she loves. A city that has endless possibilities and a boss that stars in some of her wildest fantasies. Her hormones are yelling "Go for it!" but her brain is screaming, "Run Girl!" Which voice will she listen to? Ms. Romig stretches her comedic chops as she tickles the funny bone. Plus One had me wondering why discovering this author took me so long.

    Loved it

This was a new author to me. Wow, what a great book; I loved this from start to finish. This was an hilarious read, with many laugh out loud moments that had me almost in tears at times. Ms. Romig's characters came to life whilst I was reading this book. I loved the quirkiness and although at times annoying members of Kimbra's family; her grandmother Helen is such a hoot with her mother Judy not far behind. There was smoking hot romance, humour as well as edge of your seat tension as you wondered if their charade would be found out. Duncan is sexy and confident, the kind of man every woman notices and believe me not only has Kimbra noticed but all the women in her family have too.  Until fate and a little blackmail brings Duncan and Kimbra together, neither of them are aware that the feelings they have for each other are reciprocated. Kimbra takes advantage of her knowledge to coerce Duncan into being her Plus One for her cousin's wedding; not knowing that he has had many fantasies about her since she went to work for his company 3 years ago. Duncan knows an opportunity when he sees one and jumps at the chance. What transpires is a “fantasy” weekend of epic proportions. However, what happens when they leave the family homestead and return to their “real” lives, will fantasy become their reality or will the dream burst?  I believe that Aleatha Romig is known for her darker writing, but Plus One by Leatha, the lighter side of Aleatha, as she calls herself is certainly a book I highly recommend. It was an absolute pleasure to read and I will certainly be on the look out for more of Leatha.
