The Absolute Best Book In The Series!

I absolutely Loved this book the far. In this book we get to really know and understand the trials that ConEL and Lucy have faced. Lucy understands the turmoil that ConEL is feeling from being held in captivity for over 10 years. And she wants to help him heal. But to do that he needs to admit he needs help and go to counseling. Lucy is able to force the Katierans, who have never thought they would need to talk to a counselor that it is the only way ConEL will ever heal. Suffering from P.T.S.D. herself Lucy knows all the signs. And when ConEL snaps during a celebration and tries to kill himself in the pristine waters of Katieran it is up to Lucy to save him. Katierans have laws about contact with their waters so no one there knows how to swim. Because she does break the law to save ConEL it is Lucy who is punished for it. But it is this one incident that opens the Katierans eyes to the need for trauma counseling. And ConEL gets the help he needs. I love the fact that KD Jones touches on so many issues from todays society and points out the need for change with out hitting the reader too hard up against the head to do so. And as a survivor of P.T.S.D. it was very easy to empathize with the characters in this book. I really could feel their pain and I was happy to rejoice with them in the end. I totally give this book 5 plus Stars! and I can't even remember the bad editing on it! A truly amazing story KD Jones hope all the rest are like this!
