  • The Brat and the Bodyguard

Adrienne is in need of a bodyguard after her father’s paper publishes an article that leads to a women’s suicide, Adrienne says something insensitive and starts getting death threats. Dieter Vanderbroeck is that bodyguard. He didn’t expect a bratty broken girl for his principal(the person he protects)but Adrienne is what he has got and he is determined to protect her. Adrienne has forever been trying to get her parents to pay attention to her and she is a bit of a brat because of it. I loved how Dieter really listened to Adrienne and puts her needs before his own. Adrienne has never had anyone listen to her in years and I really felt how lonely and sad her life must have been until Dieter showed up. I loved Adrienne’s spirit and while I didn’t connect with her character I felt and understood her pain. I really loved the progression of Adrienne’s and Dieter’s relationship from bodyguard to boyfriend/girlfriend. These two had such great chemistry in and out of the bedroom. The kinky scenes were on fire and I loved them. If you aren’t into BDSM, spanking, ect.. then this is not the book for you. While I didn’t love this one as much as Control Freak it was still a great story and I couldn’t put it down. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Content Rating: Adult
