    Tomorrow falls flat

Promise Me Tomorrow had a lot of promise that it couldn't live up to. The main characters lacked chemistry, and all the characters in general fell flat from being underdeveloped. The changes that the protagonists underwent, especially the male lead, Jase, didn't seem realistic or authentic; the connection between the plot and the protagonists development was weak, so the changes Jase and Tiffany experienced felt forced. Plus, there were plot holes and timeline issues that nagged me, and the book's pacing was slow, almost painfully so from the middle to the end. Overall, it was ok, neither here nor there, but not particularly inspiring. I don't see myself committing to the rest of the series.
