Best romance book I read in a long time!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review I loved this book, one of the best romance books I read in a long time. I had hoped for a nice romance as those are usually my expectations and most romance books I read get that 4 star rating, but I hadn't expected to love this book so much and it deserves that 5 star rating. This book has everything I look for in a good romance book, a great romance, well developed side characters and an interesting story. There is a lot of things going on, but in a good way. Everybody has their problems and we get to learn a bit about every character we meet and their issues influence the characters around them , just like in real life. It was very realistic. I stayed up late two evenings as I just had to read one more chapter and then another one etc. I simply could not put this book down. The characters are one of my favourite parts of this book, like I mentioned above the characters are well developed and everyone has their own issues, worries, motivations and personality. It felt like the whole town came alive, because every person felt real. Beside Mack and Nina their point of view, we also get Ally her point of view and I thought that the multiple point of view really worked. I could relate to Ally as I went through a hard batch of time during my high school as well. Although it's sad so see how her parents bad marriage situation influences her life as well and she has a hard time dealing with it all. She's a great character and I liked hearing her part of the story as well. Then there are also side characters like Nina's Grandma and Mack his family that play an important role in the story and in Nina and Mack their lives. Then there are Mack and Nina. The romance was so well done and I liked both characters. They had something great as teenagers, but then went their different ways after a hard night that tore them in separate directions. And now they are back in the same town and realizing their feelings haven't gone away and might even be stronger than before. It was awesome seeing them meet again and trying to figure out what to do. I also liked that they didn't avoid each other, they spend time together and figured out where that lead them. Also they communicated with each other, they talk a lot and I loved that part of their relationship as they felt like they could talk to each other and didn't just avoid issues. There's no miss communication and I was so happy about that as it's one of the things I see a lot in the books I read and I dislike it. Their relationship didn't went smooth and they had some hard times, but they both worked on it. Then there was the small town setting. Heartache is a fictional town close by Nashville and I liked the small town setting. Everyone seems close to each other and there's a close and tight community. Mack his family played an important part in shaping the town in recent years and even Nina after being away for a long time is easily welcomed back and has the support of the town. I also liked the Harvest fest although I would've liked seeing a bit more of the various activities, but as the main character helped organizing it we don't see much of that. I liked seeing how being back into Heartache influenced Nina and Mack. The setting really added to the story and I loved imagining this little town and outstretched orchards. To conclude: this is one of the best romance books I read in a long time. I loved the story line and how all the characters felt real and had their own story. There is a lot going on and I loved every second of this book. The romance is well down and I was routing for Mack and Nina, I also loved that they actually talked with each other and there was no miss communication. The small town setting really adds to the story and I loved the setting. I couldn't put it down and can't wait to delve into the next book in this series.
