  • Great series opener!!!

Awesome beginning to an amazing series! The characters are fan-freaking-tastic! Caroline is so unexpected. She's no-nonsense, completely unassuming, really smart, tough in an unexpected way and loyal to the bone. Her conversation with the guys about when they first noticed her was heartbreaking and eye opening for them. The main SEAL in this story is Matthew "Wolf" Steel. He's sexy, gorgeous and the unofficial team leader of all these amazing SEALs. Wolf has his faults, just like the rest of us and every now and then he messes up. This is such a fantastic story. This group of SEALs are closer than blood related brothers and if you're lucky enough to have one love you or care about you, you're part of their family for life. I can't wait to read the next book in this highly recommended and addictive series. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

  • Gripping Story But...

I enjoyed the plot and the characters in thia story. There was a decent amount of back story and character development to help keep me interested in the story even when the plot seem to drag a bit. The biggest problem for me was the slut shaming the author use when describing the women that the men had slept with in the past. This wasn't a huge part of the story but it did resurface a few times.

  • interesting if a bit naive

While I enjoyed the story, its obvious the writer didn't do their research. From the comments about women in science (not to mention using it as a highly improbable plot device) to the one off line about how people in their 40's still find love. I would suggest to the writer that they should at least do the research, those kind of inaccuracies detract from the book.
