    Prowled darknes

All finished! I enjoyed all of the books of Duntay's Circle. All the ups and downs. The plotting, the ins & outs. Kept me wondering what's next!

An amazing end to an incredible series

This book is bittersweet for sweet. It is an amazing book, but it is the conclusion to the Dante's Circle series which I have truly enjoyed. Prowled Darkness focuses on Eliana, the last of the lightening-struck, and Malik. There are a lot of issues that these two have to try to resolve before they can even think about trying to make things work. You'll find yourself rooting for them and hoping that they can somehow overcome all the obstacles and reach that happily ever after that they so deserve. The cast of characters from the previous books in the series all come together in this last hurrah. Over the years they have become familiar and dear to me. I will miss them. This has been a fantastic journey from Book 1 - Dust of my Wings, through this, Book 7. I received an advance review copy in exchange for my honest opinion of the book, and my honest opinion is that Prowled Darkness is a great and fitting finish to a great tremendous series.

    Dante´s Circle #7

Ellie Sawyer is the only one of the lightening struck women not to have found her mate, and therefore the only one still human. She is likely to stay that way because the man she loves is human and he has left her. Her biggest problem is that she is about to have his baby. Malik Ward has had to leave the woman he loves because werelions can't mate humans. Especially him, as he is heir to the throne. His father, the Leo is dying, so Malik must put the realm before his own wants. That is until he learns that Ellie is one of the lightening struck. This is a sexy and emotional story . Our heroine is trying to be brave and strong but the baby is the only one that matters. Once she comes into her power she will be a very unusual magical being. Our arrogant hero thinks he can just come back and say everything if fine now. He has to learn the world doesn´t revolve around him. They have a lot to sort out in a very short time and traitors to the Leo's realm to battle. A lovely ending to a great series, that must be read in order.

Yesss! Oh, no! Say it ain't so...

Received this ARC free for an honest review. At the start of the story, it left me wondering at the direction the author, Carrie Ann Ryan, was taking me as it was written in a new direction than the previous books in the series. The more you read, the better it starts to unravel. This story will take you through your emotions... anger, frustration, heart break, and she still keeps you guessing, even at it's conclusion. This is by far the best in that Eliana has absolutely no doubt about her match in the end. Prowled Darkness seems to have the series come full circle... pun intended. Get the series, you will love the stories and characters!

    Loved!

I procrastinated reading this because I knew it was the last one of the series. I wasn't disappointed (I knew I wouldn't be), because Carrie Ann just rocks it. I love Eliana, another strong woman. And I love Malik, even if he screwed up in the beginning. But then again, I think they all did lol. I totally loved this series. I am very sad it ended. But it was all awesome
