    Conection!!!

So, here is the thing. I got an ARC of this book, but that doesn't interfere with my rating, believe me on that. Leaving that aside, I would start with the review without giving any spoiler. The first thing that got my attention of this book was, if I'm honest, the female character's body. Usually I don't see a really slim female character as the protagonist, and after DNF a horrible book that took bullying against slim people like a normal thing, this was soooo refreshing. I connected with Lily in a way I have never connected with another FM, reading about her insecurities (like in the boobs department) were someting that got me loving her right away, after all, I'm just like her. Randy is beautiful, awesome and one of my favorite male characters of all times!! I love a good man who can make me laugh, and Balls did it without any problem at all. To sum up, this was a beautiful, funny story for me, one I would re-read in the future without any doubt at all. Highly recommended. Thank you, Helena, for this awesome book.

    5 BREAKAWAY STARS!!!!

I've been looking forward to getting Randy and Lily's story since I read Pucked Up. Getting these two together was a stroke of genius by Helena Hunting! Given the background these two come from and knowing what they don't want from a relationship makes this book that much better and hotter. As I've come to love about this series, the sex is beyond sizzling because there's generally some humor mixed in there too and isn't that what we all look for when seeking out our "person?" Someone we can laugh and cry with? One of my favorite scenes in this book was the bathroom sex in the very beginning of the book! I was rolling when Sunny came looking for Lily. If she only knew what was really going on behind that bathroom door! What started out as just a rebound fling for Lily having just gotten out of a relationship that had been dead for a while, starts to become more. Even though neither of them were looking for this, watching them come to terms with the potential forever they could have was both funny and moving at the same time. Imagine being a guy that's just fine being single and having his choice of Puck Bunnies and realizing there's only one woman he wants... quite a revelation for Randy "Balls" Ballistic. I especially loved the friendships that Lily had with the other girlfriends. Supporting her while trying to find her next dream since her dream of figure skating was taken from her by her craptastic father warmed my heart. The way these girls rally around each other makes me love them that much more. As these two get more serious, finagling a long distance relationship proves to have its challenges. But because they don't live in the same city, they have to make the most of the time they do have together and it's usually filled with lots and lots and lots of sex... "He returns with my purse and my bag of goodies from Shopper's. He hold up the box of condoms I purchased. 'You're a regular Girl Scout, aren't you?'...We have twenty-three condoms to blow through tonight. We have to get started on that right away." There's so many great moments in this book that I could go on and on, but why do that when you can read it and be as entertained as I was. Once again, Helena has scored big with this book and I for one can't wait for the next one!!!

    A 5 Star Score!

Another laugh out loud funny and delightfully sexy score from Helena Hunting. This book needs ALL the stars! Her outrageously witty and one of a kind humor and back in full effect. As a fellow Canadian, I was downright giddy with all the Canada jokes and references. Each book in this series has the same trademark humor and delightful sexy times, yet each story brings interesting and unique characters and stories. While Violet and Alex remain my favorites so far, and I LOVE continuing to get glimpses of them with each book in this series, Randy and Lily definitely captured a piece of my heart, and claimed a few pairs of panties. This is definitely my favorite sports romance series, and that is saying a lot considering I don't even like hockey, or really any sports for that matter. Don't be shocked. Not all Canadians love hockey. It's just another stereotype about Canadians. But this series makes me REALLY want to like hockey!
