    Amazing book

Oh wow. I’ve just finished reading and I’m still in awe of this book. Since I was introduced to this author I’ve been impressed with every book I’ve read. This is no exception. Slade broke my heart. His past was tragic but it lead him to Austyn his girl. Military romance is one of my favourite genres and can be very emotional. This was real and raw not just happy ever after. Life is tough especially for a marine and Slades was exceptionally difficult. I can’t begin to explain the feelings I went through reading this book. All I can say is try it you’ll love it. (less)

Heart wrenching at times, but still amazing!

This book is everything I've come to expect from a Kaylee Ryan book, and so much more! I knew, going into this book, that it was about a military serviceman, and the potential was there for some serious subject matter. I also knew that no matter how serious it got, that it would be an amazing story! She definitely did not let us down! Slade had a rough upbringing, and he's all alone in the world. Even so, he becomes a proud Marine, gaining a whole new type of family. That family led to him meeting Austyn, and his life changing again, this time for the better. Austyn is an awesome friend, responsible daughter, hard worker, and good student. She has her whole life mapped out for herself, and then she meets Slade. Right from the beginning, she is supportive, loving, and just plain amazing! Their entire relationship is both insta-love, as well as a slow burn. This story is at times heart wrenching, but mostly a fabulous feel good story. It shows how hard military life is on both those that are deployed and those that are left behind. I found myself tearing up, more than once, thinking about how hard this life is for those that serve our country. Austyn and Slade's story had me on an emotional roller coaster, but left me smiling in the end. It's a beautiful, well written story, and will definitely be one that will go in my re-read pile!

    Pull you through

This is a beautifully written story that just seems to flow, and you see the characters grow as people as well as the growth of their relationship as your reading the book. Austyn and Slade meet through mutual friends when Slade is taken to a friends home whilst they have time off from the military. Both Slade and Austyn know that their relationship isn't going to be easy and you see the angst they feel when they are apart, first when Slade is stationed, and then when Slade leaves the country for his military tour. Kaylee Ryan deals with Slade's PTSD in a really sensitive manner and she definitely takes into a count how difficult it is to be the spouse who is left behind. There is real angst in this book, but also moments of joy, happiness and beauty throughout times of hardship and angst. I highly recommend this book!

    Pull You Through

This is a really good read. I thought with the main subjects being so young I would get bored but Kaylee tells the story of young love and the military with such depth and passion you can’t stop reading.
