    Pushing The Limits

So, I wasn't sure about this book at first. The characters annoyed me a bit, but they grew on me and I ended up really liking this book. I recommend you give it a go.

    1 OF MY TOP FAVS

I LOVED THIS BOOK! 1st sentence into the book & it already had me hooked. I love a bit of romance, tragedy, and humor thrown in the plot of a story, and this book did it for me. The story is written in 1st-person view from 2 different protagonists: Echo & Noah. Both of them were struggling with their own problems, Echo has "parent issues" her father not showing much of his affection, and her mother who got replaced because of her mental disorder; and Noah, a boy who just wants what's best for his younger siblings and is willing to do anything to get custody over them, regardless of his drug use and condition. However the 2 main heroes both find love within another; and each of the revolving characters were well written out as well. It was hard not to sympathize with some of the characters that were made to look bad. But overall this book was so phenomenal!!!! Definitely recommend to those who like the novel Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. The 2 books are similar in a way but definitely have their own flair to it. Katie McGarry is an exceptional author!! The only thing I wish Mrs. McGarry did with the sequels, was make the story about Noah & Echo instead of basing the stories about their friends. *DISCLAIMER* If you are very emotional & empathetic (like myself), them I suggest you prepare to shed a few tears.

    Great YA book

Although this book was a bit long winded and had way too many cheesy, and at times jarring, metaphors, the author had excellent character development. I felt she especially captured what it's like to have a mother with bipolar disorder and the mother's character itself rang incredibly authentic.

I really enjoyed this book. It was really sweet and the main characters were quite believing and you got lost in them. I can't imagine living a life like Noah…so sad…:(.
