  • Fantastic Series

I can always tell how much I missed the Argonauts, as soon as I pick up one of their books. This is book #7.5 in the series, and as it was just a novella, for me, it was over too quickly.. however.. it did bring up some good intrigue that I hope will be resolved in the next story. I believe I first met Ari, in Nick's book, Twisted, and I am glad he got a story of his own. He, like all the Argonauts, are strong leads, who need a confident match. Daphne was a good mate for him. I can't wait to see whose story is next. I say this with every addition to this series... if haven't read about these Eternal Guardians.. You really should!!!

  • FIlled to the brink with intrigue and surprises

In spite of being a novella this story is quite fulfilling. As always Elisabeth Naughton spins a tale full of mysterious circumstances and intrigue. A lot is revealed about Ari's departure from the Eternal Guardians and his frenzied killing spree of Zeus's Sirens. Of Zeus' and Hera's machinations and how the mortals must pay the price. A bit more insight is given about Cerek's personality and why he isolates himself so much. But for now Cerek's fate hangs in the balance. Whatever Zeus is attempting next, I assume will be concluded in the next installment. Free copy provided in exchange for an honest review
