  • Sweet and Funny!

This was such a fun, sweet, and entertaining read that I had a hard time putting this down once I started. I love Bayleigh and Archer and how they discover this new side of their relationship. I laughed, I smiled like crazy, I swooned.

  • Crossing lines

This book was very funny. There are also places where it is heartbreaking—like much of chapter one with Archer’s feelings. I really liked both points of view—it was pretty important to this story. He and Bayleigh hurt each other by having a hard time talking about what is going on. I definitely felt Archer’s a lot more than Bayleigh’s. I really enjoyed this story so much. I received a free copy of this book.

  • Running Towards Love

READY TO RUN, the first book in the Sunnyville series from the ladies writing as Jennifer Rebecca, is a sweet and sexy friends to lovers small town romance read. There is plenty of Southern charm, family shenanigans, and some not-so-slow burn in this easily readable book. It's pretty rare that I take the time to read new-to-me authors in the romance world these days, because it sometimes feels like literally EVERYONE has decided to write a book. That being said, I do like to mix it up a little from time to time, and READY TO RUN proved to be a good choice. I like the familiarity that is part of the friends to lovers trope, because everyone is pretty much a known quantity. That Bayleigh and Archer have seen each other in a much more than 'friends only' light for forever is kind of a secret, but apparently only to them, since their loving, supportive, and very colorful families are more than ready for them to open their eyes. The 'will they/won't they' energy is real, and makes for some fun times while they get themselves sorted out. This was a fun and fairly quick read, and I am invested enough in Sunnyville to be looking forward to what's coming next for this bunch. In the meantime, be sure to add READY TO RUN to your summer TBR, and enjoy. ❤️
