  • Swoony, angsty and emotional

Rebecca Yarros hit me right at centre of my heart with all the glorious feels in Reason to Believe. This swoony, angsty, heartaching and intensely emotional story have my heart and soul. Knox and Harper's story was full of hope, inspiration, angst and perfect chemistry. Harper Anders didn't think twice before volunteering to take two kids under her care temporarily when they lost their mother. But she has to find a place and her brother's best friend Knox Daniels' house is the perfect one. He is coming back to town soon along with his best friends to resurrect Legacy Hotshot LLC, the legendary team of firefighters their parents were part of and the team that lost all the members in a tragic fire years ago. Knox and Harper has unsaid feelings because her brother has clearly said that she is off limits. But they have to play house and get married to give the kids a home else they will be separated. What will happen with their hearts? This story is delivering angst in so many layers. The haunting and dangerous life of firefighters and how it affects their loved ones. The deep seated loss and grief that shape lives. The angst of loving someone but never having them. The joy of unexpectedly finding love and unconditional affection in children and the deep despair of losing them. Harper and Knox went through all of them. Harper is such a bright and beautiful woman with fierce loyalty and sassy personality. She loves deeply, without hesitation and with everything she has. Be it Liam and James, the kids. Be it a broken soul like Knox. And her conviction in her own love helped Knox to overcome his fears and get healed. Now Knox is kind of my kryptonite. First responder. Alpha. Broken but perfect. The kind of man you dream of having in your life. He has always loved Harper but this situation made him really push away his shackles. Now this was a difficult scenario with the kids and their future and their complex feels. And they didn't came out on the other side without the messy, chaotic and overwhelming feels. Fighting their feels and accepting their feels. And the slow burn of scorching hot chemistry!I loved how the author vividly describes the challenges of the firefighter's life and I cheered up for Legacy Hotshots loudly. I cried and I laughed and I swooned and I clutched my chest from the sweet agony. This story is an emotional rollercoaster and you cannot miss it. I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

  • Fabulous Characters & Story!

WOW! That's really all I can say right now. Just WOW! This small town romance was absolutely fantastic. Harper and Knox had undeniable chemistry, and you could feel all the emotions. Not to mention you could see how much they loved those two little boys, and would do anything and everything for them. Ryker drove me bonkers with his big brother act, and trying to keep these two apart. Then there was everything that was going on with getting the Legacy crew going again, and that just tugged on my heartstrings. I could not put this book down, and I cannot wait to see who will be the next main character. I just know it's going to be amazing. Loved the characters. Loved the setting. Loved it all.

  • Loved Knox and Harper!

Reason To Believe was such a great read! I have loved other books by Rebecca Yarros and this story and the characters were no different. *Hot Shot Firefighter *Friends to Lovers *Sibling's best friend Knox and Harper had undeniable chemistry and I was intrigued by their story from the beginning. Pining for each other for over 7 years, but Knox was holding firm to his word to Harper's brother that she was off-limits. Full of emotion, funny moments, 2 adorable kids, with the right amount of angst and romance. A very enjoyable book and I hope to see all of these characters in more books!

  • Emotional and Heartwarming!

If firefighters, adorable children, brothers best friend and small town romance tropes are your thing, you NEED this book in your life! Reason to Believe is such a phenomenal read! Knox and Harper's story is beautiful, heart warming and gave me all the feels! Harper and Knox's chemistry from the moment they were introduced in the prologue was combustible! The first kiss they share as teenagers was so full of emotion and heat I was salivating for more! In present day, Harper is now a teacher and two of her kiddos are in need of a foster parent. Having the huge heart she does, and because of her own experiences with a death of a parent, Harper volunteers. Her apartment is too small and she ends up staying with them at Knox's newly built home. Things get interesting when Knox arrives home earlier than expected and the two begin a co-habitation/parenting arrangement that neither were prepared for. Knox absolutely broke my heart. He adores and loves Harper SO much, but has forced himself to stay away from her for years. He thinks she deserves better than him, and has been constantly warned off of her by her brother, and his best friend, Ryker. Knox's devotion to Harper was so heartwarming. She has no idea, and thinks her feelings for him are unrequited. Now that they are finding themselves in close quarters, Knox's rule for himself is to always stay five feet apart from Harper and that is becoming impossible. I could not get enough of their connection. The passion, the pull, the angst, the chemistry, and love betweem them is unmatched, and I loved the slow build and development into more. The emotions I experienced while reading this book, is so hard to put into words. You must experience them for youself.
