  • Sweet Story

Rebecca has lost her husband in a car accident. She tries to put her life back together, but isn't very successful. When someone offers to buy her house, she takes that as a sign from her deceased husband that she needs to move on to the ranch where her aunt and uncle live. She and the children start a new life there. I do think that the children took their father's death and their subsequent move pretty easily. I also don't care for the way Rebecca waits for signs from her deceased husband before she will move on. I did enjoy reading about the courtship between Rebecca and Seth. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • The cardinal was the sign!

Rebecca's life made a horrible turn in the first part of the book. Then she decides that it would be best to move to Texas and on her Aunt’s ranch. Here is where she meets Seth stockbroker turn rancher after his parent’s death. He had had high hopes for the future but things did not turn out the way he hoped. In the end, Seth offers Rebecca a job keeping the ranch office going. This book is full of signs when you read it you will understand what I mean. I liked the characters they are all down to earth folk. Yes, expect a bit of BDSM but it is more an add-in to a really good story it was not needed but did not take anything either. I am happy to recommend this book and I hope you check it out. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. Throw in 100% on point realism, raising the stakes with such graphic scenarios that are so colorfully descriptive and vividly detailed its like you're living it with them instead of on the sidelines. Incredible job Isabella, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

  • Sweet story with some sizzle

This is a story about love, trust and faith. Growing a relationship in spite of personal demons and doubts. When Rebecca suddenly finds herself a single mom, she has to do what is best for her and her children, and that is leaning on people who love her when she needs them. When she meets Seth, things begin to fall in place and she has some thinking to do. I really enjoyed reading about the way Seth was so patient with Rebecca, especially when I would have been wringing her neck. There is so excitement and drama in here. The story starts sweet, them picks up some steam. I recommend this book, and I will be seeking out more books by Isabella Kole.
