    Thanks for your feedback!

    Very, very, very good!

Whoa! Amy took me on an adventure I was not prepared for with REBIRTH! I knew it was going to be action-packed, but it was so much more than that. Action, forgiveness, love, rebirthing. It was awesome. Though I confess I am not the biggest fan of heavy romance, it was actually one of my favorite parts of this story. I loved how real it was. There was no being fake or about how hot the other person was (yes, there is an obvious attraction that's voiced, but it was not overboard). The relationship was one of fighting together as a spiritual team, which I feel is so important in any relationship/marriage. I was so glad that Amy portrayed this in a beautiful, strong way. Something that opened my eyes after reading this story was that spiritual warfare is ugly and brutal. REBIRTH is quite violent and at times, I didn't want to keep reading how a demon "died" or Liz (or another character) was bleeding what could be to death. Amy gave me a reality check. Though I can't see the battle around me as Liz can, it's not glorious or beautiful as I think I have made it to be in my mind. I'm not quite sure why I thought this, but I'm thankful that Amy wrote such a gutsy novel to help me see this fact. Definitely reminds me (and what Liz learns) that on our own we cannot withstand the enemy. It's only through Christ and His strength alone that we can resist evil and really fulfill our God-given calling. I mentioned that the romance was one of my favorite aspects of this book, but there were two scenes I didn't fill comfortable with. Nothing inappropriate, just something I didn't necessarily agree in how certain situations were personally handled. Overall, this was a powerful, action-filled read. I am eagerly looking forward to book two and recommend REBIRTH to readers who like an edgy, thoughtful urban fantasy read.
