  • Amazing True Story

It reads like gripping fiction with high drama. Scary but really enjoyable. Very good read, amazing because it is real.

  • Best non-fiction

This book is an excellent read. Kept me up all night to ensure that I read the book, and paused for reflections on the upcoming US election. Made me feel that I should do more to help humankind. A must read.

An absolute MUST read!! I do not follow politics nor the stock markets and when given this book did not think it would capture or hold my attention. Man was I wrong - I could not put this book down until I finished it. All I can say is BUY and READ!

  • Red Notice -Bill Browder

"Red Notice" was a superb non-fiction book. It was intelligently and inspirationally written. The content was riveting, but so much more. It exposed the high-level corruption within the Putin government, and one man's attempt to deal with it head on. This was definitely a David versus Goliath situation. The moniker, "the Russian Bear," is not idly given. Although this is ultimately a book about heroism versus untramelled criminal behaviour, it also leaves one with a sense of partial defeat, as it took such tremendous personal effort to get other western governments motivated enough to want to support Mr. Browder in his one-man campaign. A story of supeb idealism in an imperfect world.

  • A brave and very important story

Ordinary men who were adversely affected by corrupt russian men of power become very brave men seeking rule of law and justice. The outcome is the eventual passing of the Magnitsky Act in U.S., Canada and elsewhere, to honour the one man Vladimir Magnitsky, a youmg lawyer, who paid with his life. The final passage of the Act came after a long, hard fought battle by Author Bill Browder. A very timely story with all the current U.S-Russian events and Putin's unrelenting efforts to eliminate the Act/sanctions which have very effectively restricted him. Meanwhile, Mr Browder lives in constant threat of retaliation by the Russian leader. Well told, informative, shocking. Everyoe should read this book and understand the background of how and why this Act came about, and the disturbing threat of Russian efforts to destroy it. Be safe, Mr Browder! Thank you for sharing this horrific story and the events leading to Mr Magnitsky's unnecessary death/murder and your determination to seek justice out of such abhorrent corruption. May peace and reason one day prevail in a world stained by greed and power.

    Thanks for your feedback!
