    LOVED this book and series!!!

**Received ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest review** Reed is the 10th book in the Cold Fury Hockey series. This book can be read as a standalone, but IMO is better read in order. I blew right through this book, couldn't put it down, loved it!! The books in this series just keep getting better and better. I absolutely loved Reed and Josie. I'm not giving any spoilers away, but I couldn't stop laughing when they met! It was hilarious!!!! I really enjoyed the story, the characters, the chemistry between the characters. If you like hot and steamy, this book will not disappoint, not only that you get the just the right amount of humor, romance, strife with just a pinch of drama. This book takes off from the beginning and doesn't stop, like a rollercoaster when it's done, you aren't ready and you feel off kilter. I loved seeing a strong female, who is a professional (emergency room doctor), not struggling, didn't need someone to be in her life, but wanted it instead. I enjoyed the glimpse given into what will come in book 11, Marek. I really enjoy getting to see how other characters are doing and their significant others. My only gripe is I wanted more at the end, a little epilogue or something. I know I will read about the characters in other books, but I like that little bit extra. Definitely wasn't ready for the book to end when it did. Overall the book is awesome, the stories truly do keep getting better. I hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!

    Fantastic

Another incredible story in the Cold Fury series. We get enticing glimpses of prior characters while learning about some of the new players to the team. Josie and Reed's story is awesome! Reed and his wild ways are not what Josie wants or has time for in her life. Yet he may be just what she needs. Someone to remind her how to have fun and not take everything so seriously. From their unconventional meeting she knows he's nothing but trouble so she should be able to protect herself from his charm. Yet as time goes by she knows she's fighting an unwinnable fight. Now she just has to protect her heart or will he take it and treat it with care? I highly recommend this one.

    Meant To Be

4.5 stars I really enjoyed this newest addition to the Cold Fury series! Though this is book 10 in the interconnected series, it can be read as a stand alone. I definitely recommend reading the earlier books though because previous characters in the series do appear and the books are wonderful! I think Josie might be my favorite Bennett heroine so far! She is independent, intelligent, and driven, as well as sexy and confident. She knows what she wants and speaks her mind. I loved that she challenged Reed and that they each brought out the best in the other (even if it scared them). Yes, their meet cute was anything but cute, but it did offer them the opportunity to truly be friends first and lovers second. I appreciated that even though they were strongly attracted to each other, their relationship progressed naturally. It's no secret the manwhore hero is my very least trope, so it was hard to get past Reed's colorful history initially. His revolving door of Barbies made me cringe, but I did like that once he truly noticed Josie, there was no one else in the picture. Throw in some incredibly swoony and romantic gestures and I was solidly on Team Reed. I do want to note that Reed was a little different than the previous Cold Fury books I've read because there actually isn't any hockey in the story (besides the mention of training camp and the appearance of the Stanley Cup). It takes place during the off season, so calling this a sports romance is a bit of a misnomer. There was a great lead in to the next book, Marek, and I'm excited for the next installment to the Cold Fury series ( secret child - check, high school sweetheart - check, a possible second chance at love? - SOLD! ) *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

    Cold Fury never disappoints!

What can I say about a hot hockey player and ER Doc finding love in this friends to lovers’ sports romance? I will tell you that it is a mighty fine read! There isn’t any hockey in this book as Reed is in the off season celebrating the Cold Fury’s Stanley Cup win and it didn’t bother me that it was the off season! The characters are terrific! I absolutely loved Josie! She is a terrific heroine that challenged Reed. He needed it as he was stuck in a rut dating only the same type of women. Josie witnessed his string of “Barbies” come and go from his townhouse. How they met was an absolute riot. Reed was having very noisy sexy times with his flavor of the day and their activities were so noisy that they kept Josie awake. Working long hours in the ER, Josie needs her rest. She marches over to Reed’s door and to give him a piece of her mind. Thus, the interest in Josie begins for Reed, this spunky little brunette. As their paths cross, he finds he is intrigued with her. He thought she was brilliant, witty and a lot of fun to be around. It had nothing to do with her petite curvy body. Nope. He was usually into tall, stacked blondes. Not short, curvy brunettes. My, my how things change. I loved the journey of their romance. The easiness of how they fell into friendship. Of course, there was that underlying electrical current. Once they made the turn into a relationship the sparks flew. Reed was a good balance for Josie. He was the spontaneous, fun guy that Josie needed. He brought excitement to her life. He was so sweet, he even bought a puzzle to put together at his house because Josie liked to do puzzles to help her unwind after work. I was so worried when Aiden came back and wanted to win Josie back. I was white knuckling my iPad there for a while. Even though this is the tenth book in this series, I was captivated by this sweet and sexy story and once I started, I couldn’t put it down. The Cold Fury series never disappoints me, and it never gets old. I love each and everyone of these guys and the terrific women that are their perfect fit. I can’t wait for more Cold Fury!

    Cold Fury at it finest!!!

LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS SERIES!!!! Reed is the 10th book in the Cold Fury series. Some would think that by book 10 a series might be getting old. NOPE, it is getting BETTER!!!!!! Reed and Josie….sigh. I love these two. The chemistry between these two practically set my ereader on fire. I read this book in one sitting, I just could not put it down, I just kept flipping pages until I read the last work. Then I was pissed because I finished it, I wanted it to just go on and on. But that happens when ever I read one of the books in the series. I LOVE the fact that we get to see what some of the previous characters are doing. I guess that is why I love reading this series. I fall for all of the characters and I ALWAYS want to know more. Yeah, I guess I am a stalker in a way….. But da…rn I love these guys. I discovered this phenomenal series and author thru NetGalley when I read Zack the 3rd book in this series and I have been a fan ever since of both the series and the author. I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book for my reading pleasure and it most definitely enjoyed it and I wanted to tell you why. I helped you make the decision to purchase this wonderful book. Now, what are you waiting for, go hit that one-click button!!! Thank you for reading my review.
