Left me sighing and wishing for more

Three very short, but deeply evocative love stories, Regency Rescues leaves the reader sighing and wishing for more. It is difficult to write a review for such short stories without spoilers, so it will have to suffice to say that the heroes in all three stories are heart-warming and the kind of men any woman would want as husbands and lovers. Each of the women, whilst strong in themselves, were the victims of circumstances. I appreciated the fact that the stories were deeply romantic whilst remaining clean, which means your teenage daughter can read them too. This short book satisfied the romantic in me and left me smiling. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

A five-star review on Regency Rescues by Isabella

This is a collection of three short stories. 1 Gentleman to the Rescue Clarissa is about to get married against her will. 2 An Officer and a Gentleman Marianne receives the worst kind of news a woman can have: the death of her beloved son. After that, she has to leave her house and work to be able to survive. 3 A True Gentleman Lady Emma suffers violence from her husband. He is really angry with her because she couldn’t give him an heir. We love Regency times. However, that time was not a good one for women. They were always depending on the male members of their families. But in these stories, the three women are very lucky to have men who are good people and love them no matter what. The three stories are short but enjoyable. They are well-written and enough developed to enjoy them. As they are sweet and clean, everybody can read them. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
