  • Highly recommended

Reviewed by K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite Relentless: Homeless Teen To Achieving The Entrepreneur Dream is a work of non-fiction in the memoir and inspirational subgenres. It is intended for the mature adult reading audience due to some sensitive subject matter including abuse, self-harm, and mental illness, and was penned by author Natasha Miller. As the title suggests, the work chronicles the incredible journey of the author, who tells of a very difficult and traumatizing start in life. From here, Miller strove for success against seemingly impossible odds, not only creating a fast-growing and thriving new business but also achieving an optimized, streamlined model and true confidence as an inspiring leader. Most readers enjoy the typical rags to riches success stories of emotive non-fiction, but author Natasha Miller offers this and so much more in this motivating and stimulating memoir. One of the features I especially enjoyed about this work was the author's commitment to staying grounded, which is conveyed in the down-to-earth, straight-talking narrative style and the rare qualities of honesty and humility that she brings to the text. Relentless is truly a testament to the fortitude of the human spirit and a reminder to us all that we need to let nothing in life prevent us from achieving our dreams. Overall, I would highly recommend Relentless for readers who are seeking inspiration to enter the business world themselves, but also for anyone who enjoys a well-written memoir about triumph over adversity and the power of self-confidence and hard work.

  • Very insightful

Reviewed by Lucinda E Clarke for Readers' Favorite Relentless by Natasha Miller tells of her early childhood living in fear of a violent mother who could not and would not love her. She ran away from home, was driven to a teen refuge by her father who enabled her mother’s behavior, and even a spell living with her grandmother did not work out too well. However, Natasha had one enormous talent; music. She played the violin, performed in several orchestras, and she could sing. When she was old enough to leave home, she forged a new and successful life for herself, which took courage and determination. When circumstances changed, not once, but twice, she thought outside the box, took risks, and changed direction in her career. She is a phenomenal success and a shining example that from abuse you can rise to greatness. I chose to read and review Relentless by Natasha Miller as the subject of an abusive childhood is one that I understand all too well. I have nothing but admiration for this author who picked herself up time and time again and battled on. She was blessed with an amazing talent, which enabled her to support herself, but it is never easy starting from nothing. I especially admired her ability to branch out in parallel directions, learn new skills, and rise to the top of her career. Named in Forbes's top 5,000 is something most of us only dream of but she made it possible. Where do you go from here? You write a book that will encourage, inspire, and motivate any reader who dives into the pages. Well written, easy to read, you felt she is talking directly to the reader over a cup of tea. This is a book that should be read by everyone, not only those in abusive and dysfunctional families. Hard work, determination, and sheer courage made Natasha Miller a success. Loved this book.

  • A must-read!

Reviewed by Joe Wisinski for Readers' Favorite Relentless: Homeless Teen to Achieving the Entrepreneur Dream is an autobiography of a woman raised in dire circumstances who went on to succeed in her life. Written by Natasha Miller, the book chronicles her life from an abusive childhood to becoming a successful entrepreneur who built a multi-million dollar entertainment production company. The book consists of stories from Miller’s life, as well as the wisdom that she learned along the path her life took. Miller writes in an easy-to-read style, even though some of her book deals with distressing content such as verbal, mental, emotional, and physical abuse. There are also stories of child neglect, depression, mental illness, and more. This is an inspiring book. Some readers will hardly be able to imagine the horrors that author Natasha Miller underwent as a child. The fact that she overcame them to become a successful professional will encourage anyone who may have suffered the same terrible abuse. But even readers who were raised in much more positive circumstances will achieve inspiration from Relentless: Homeless Teen to Achieving the Entrepreneur Dream. Miller recognizes that not everyone suffered the same horrific childhood that she did, but that everyone has experiences that shaped them for good or for bad. She encourages her readers to build on the good and overcome the bad. Anyone who may have endured a difficult childhood should be encouraged not only by Miller’s success but by her motivation. And anyone raised in better circumstances can say, “If she can do it, I can do it,” whatever “it” may be in the reader’s life.

  • Literary Titan

Relentless by Natasha Miller is an inspiring biography that takes readers on an emotional journey. We follow the author as she tells her story of leaving an abusive home, finding the motivation to work to live on her own, raising her daughter and still managing to pursue her dreams no matter the obstacles she faced. The author boldly shares her story with no sugar coating. She is unfiltered and honest. While I was reading her story, I felt like I was having a conversation with a lifelong friend which helped me connect with the author. The author’s descriptions of places and people are very detailed and I was able to clearly imagine what was going on; making the impact of emotional moments even more potent. It was really sad to hear Natasha mention in the beginning of the book that she wanted to leave the shelter that she was in to go back with her mother, but her mother did not want her back. This is a life changing moment for the author. But she dug deep within herself and found the strength to build a life for herself, and I was moved by her will and determination. Relentless is a hard book to put down because readers are left on edge, just waiting to see what could possibly happen next to Natasha. I admire the author’s courage in sharing with us the fact that she had to seek professional help and was later prescribed Zoloft. In today’s society many people feel shame from needing the extra help, but the author didn’t see it that way, and I appreciated her candor. The most inspiring part of Miller’s story is how she was able to build her own business and is now helping other entrepreneurs. Natasha’s story is a must read for anyone looking for an emotional but ultimately uplifting story. Relentless serves as a reminder that no matter what you are going through, you are not alone, and you will make it out of the darkness.
