    Different and yet the same

I have bought and read every book Mr Foster has written since 1973. His grasp of vocabulary is superb and his imagination excellent. The angle of this story is sad and poignant, but hope is always present. All I can is, it starts slow as molasses in January but picks up speed as the story moves along. Stick with it, it's worth it. All his stories are!

Alan Dean Foster at his best

New alien species are introduced and made real in this gripping tale of mankind's future. A clear message about human fallacy.
