  • Good Story

This second chance romance draws you in and have you on Marcel and Cynthia's side to get a second chance for happiness. She left the island because of he dysfunctional family and in doing so left the love of her life as well. Now she is back after her aunt's death to make the property into a bed and breakfast. Marcel is the contractor hired. When he and Cynthia reconnect the feelings are still there between them. Do they have what it takes to rekindle their relationship and move forward towards a happily ever after? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Second Chances

My first time reading this author, but not the last. Cynthia is at a crossroads, laid off from her job, time to address family issues. Going back to Madison Island and starting over is her plan. Going home brings up memories, good and bad, and Marcel, her first love. They are different people now, both have grown. Will the time apart bring them closer this time? Change is Good, and throughout the story there are SO many second chances at missed opportunities. I also enjoyed the beautifully written secondary characters, as we meet them, they are just part of the story. While we get an introduction, it never feels forced or lengthy. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Thank you to Booksprout and the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

  • Love second chance romance

I love a story about small town romance. I love second chance romance with both characters 40+ years old. Cynthia returns back to her home town to transform her Aunt's home into a Bed and Breakfast after her job in Portland was eliminated. She hires her teenage boyfriend she left abruptly when she left town to remodel her new business. The love is still strong, but they struggle with both pain and heartbreak. I really wanted to love Cynthia, but her inability to communicate was a struggle. I also think the cover was a miss, but I have really enjoyed the writers previous books and look forward to the next story. • Renovation of Love, a love that was meant to be.

The first book in the Love On Madison Island series a well written second chance story by a new to me Author. Cynthia Marshall comes back to Madison Island, GA and meets Marcel Lewis the man she left behind over two decades ago. I enjoyed seeing them come back together and find they where still meant for each other. Her parents where something else. • cute second chance romance

This was my first time reading a book from this author and I enjoyed the story. Although I love second chance romances, some of them can be a hit or miss. This was a hit and a good one, especially since it was also a small town romance. I did notice on the cover that they had Charlotte with a head full of grey hair, which is rare for a woman that is 43 and that did not seem to match the main character of the story to me. Other than that, the storyline itself was enjoyable with relatable characters. I would read the next book in the series.
