    Awesome

What a great story about Emily, who has spent her adult life protecting her daughter as a single parent. Annie, her very precocious six year old daughter always comes first. Emily happens upon an ad for an apartment at the home of Navy Seal Fletch. Cormac Fletcher likes his job of defending his country. After meeting Emily he feels the need to look after her and Annie. He loves Annie's inquisitive mind, her love of anything military and cars. Fletch gets on the bad side of a fellow military man, who thought Fletch and his crew purposely embarrassed them on the military course and uses Emily to get back at Fletch by blackmailing her. Bad communication between Fletch and Emily turns into her hating him and his uncaring nature as she thinks he is letting her pay his debt to the man. Emily and Annie are kidnapped by the man and held to get Fletch to come after them. He has his friends help to locate and rescue them. Annie, so much older than her years escapes from the cargo container after her mother made a hole in the side, that was them. She finds Fletch and he in turn goes to rescue Emily. During this time he realizes he wants them as his family permanently. The adoption of Annie was so funny. She let the judge know exactly how she feels about Fletch becoming her father was great. Another great book by Susan Stoker. Look forward to the next one.

    Alpha male yes please!

*ARC* Ahhh Just like her other series, this was the best. Loved it. Emily was looking for a new place to live were it is safer for her and her daughter Annie, Fletch is renting out the apartment above his garage which is were the story begins. A misunderstanding makes both of them turning away from each other but when things start to go bad Fletch steps up not only because he feels responsible but because he loves her and will do anything to protect those he loves. Annie was a fantastic kid, not whinny but brave and smart for her age and even if she liked to play with boy toys she still had those tough delta men eating out of her palm. Great story I think this was my favorite so far can't wait to read more of these delta men.

    Loved Emily and Fletch

Rescuing Emily was another great story in my favorite Susan Stoker's Delta Force series. I loved Emily and Fletch together and Emily's daughter Annie was such a great little girl with her gifted abilities and penchant for everything military. Emily was such a strong independent single mom who was fierce in her care and love for her daughter. I especially liked the set up of the rescue mission and Emily and Annie's proactive involvement in their own rescue. Fletch may be my new alpha BBF whose protective instincts and Delta Force abilities were terrific. Don't miss the court room scene starring the precocious Annie; it's a real hoot!

    Five Stars

Absolutely fantastic second book in the Delta Force series by Susan Stoker. Delta Force operator Fletch has an apartment for rent, Annie and daughter Emily are in need of a safer place to live. Everything is going along nicely, then boom, enter the manipulative, nasty bad guy. I think I hate him most of all of Stoker's bad guys. Emily and her intelligence will have your heart!
