    Second Chances

What started out as a one-night stand in a foreign city turns into so much more. Keane (Ghost) Bryson is a Delta Team member and returning from a mission. Rayne Jackson is a flight attendant and they meet at Heathrow Airport while waiting for their flight to board. The flight is cancelled due to bad weather and they end up spending the day exploring London and the night exploring each other. Of course since he was returning from a mission he hadn't given her his "real" identity in when they met in London. It is unfortunate since Rayne seems meant for him including the tattoo on her back. While each of them knew going into it that this was a one-night stand, neither of them can stop thinking about the other one. When Ghost and his team are sent in to Egypt to rescue American's being held hostage, he is surprised to find Rayne among them. Rayne can't believe that Ghost is really there saving her. Can Ghost and Rayne overcome the "lie" about his identity and trust each other? With Ghost being a Delta Team member, he doesn't think it is fair to Rayne to get involved with her. The two have obstacles to deal with if they want to be together. Will they embrace the second chance they have been given? This is the first book in Susan Stoker's Delta Force Heroes series. I like that this is part of a series but does not contain a cliffhanger ending and am looking forward to reading more of these books. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A Great Author and For Me A Great New Series Of Alpha Men

I had never read anything by this author and I am really pleased that I decided to take the chance. I love Alpha Men stories and this one definitely delivered in spades. This is the first book in the series, and I am excited to start on the second of the series right away. These Alpha men are Delta Force and I have never read any series which involved Delta before. Usually it always seems to be Seals in the books that I have read, so it is a nice change. The author is great at describing all of the places in London that the couple visits and you can almost imagine being on the London Eye yourself. Later on this talent for creating great and detailed visuals allows us to almost feel a part of everthing that the characters go through. If you have never read anything from this author, or haven't read this series yet, it is an author and series that I would highly recommend. If you also love stories of military Alpha males then buy it and start reading because you will love it.

    Go Delta

I was so pleased to find that this follows immediately after the concluding book in the SEALs of Protection series and we get to meet those SEALS again, albeit very briefly, in this book. Rayne and Ghost are a good match for each other even though their almost relationship is coloured by the lies Ghost has to tell to protect his identity. Absolute favourite moment - when Rayne realises it is Ghost who has come looking for her even though he didn't know it at the time. This is the perfect book to kickstart this series by providing a bridge of sorts with the last series, especially by including Penelope Turner who understands what Rayne has been through. And finally, hooray for Tex whose intervention will always be welcome.

    Rescuing Rayne

Awesome. Loved the book, and the authors writing style. Can't wait to get the rest of the series.
