    Read it

If you will ever speak to a young child in your lifetime, then you should read this. We owe it to those little munchkins to make an effort at understanding them. Once we understand them, we can deal with them in a more effective manner. This change in our behaviour will change their behaviour--making all of us more loveabl.

A fresh air in the anxiety that suffocates our kid

In Greece where i live the prominent paradigm of raising children has become the behavorical/learning , which in my view reflects the parallel dismantling of the social fabric during the crisis. In that light the book felt like a breeze of fresh air to me and as an alarm call that must awake us and start pressing the brakes before it's too late.

    Great read!

Deborah gives us so much to reflect on in this beautifully written book. It is philosophical and practical; and if we as parents and educators are willing to heed its advice I truly think this world can be filled with compassionate, responsible and emotionally healthy adults.
