    I love this series!

Reviving Izabel is the second book in J.A. Redmerski's In The Company of Killers series. This is a great sequel to Sarai's story in the first book which follows her escape from years of captivity with a notorious drug lord in Mexico. The story follows her experiences as she tries to live the life of an unskilled killer and the consequences that come along with that. As a reader, at times I felt she was full of herself, and her whiny attitude and behavior annoyed me to the point I was mentally asking why the hero in the story was sticking around, but I guess after everything she has been through and is willing to go through, she has the right to a bit of complaining. She is humbled over and over again by the consequences of the mistakes she makes along the way. "You can't learn to swim by reading it in a book...It is the best way, Sarai. To learn from your mistakes is to make them. Authentically. No amount of training, no rehearsed scenario is going to teach you better than the real thing." I love this series!

    Reviving Izabel

This was the sequel to killing Sarai, it practically killed me trying to complete the book. Not much else to add. I haven't read anything else by J.A. Redmerski, can't say I ever will bas of these two last reads. But we all need to base our own opinion as to whether to read these books or not.
