    Ripped to Shreds

This book was fun and easy to read with lots of interesting twists. Found the list of names st front bit daunting and enough in story to explain the characters. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review." at the end of your review.

Rip and Rapella are at it again

I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for an honest review. Rip and Rapella Ripple are at it again! Author Jeanne Glidewell's Ripped To Shreds (A Ripple Effect Cozy Mystery Book 3) features the return of married senior sleuths Rip and Rapella Ripple. Retired law enforcement officer, Rip, and his wife Rapella are a joy to be around - even if just on paper! Glidewell gets top marks for her dynamic duo in my book. What I like best about Glidewell's Ripple Effect series is her use of the type of comedic bantering one would expect to occur between Rip and Rapella. They keep you laughing from page 1 to the back cover! As with Glidewell's first installment of the series I was sad to close the book for the last as I miss the lively and humorous dialogue! Another strong point of the author's writing is her ability to keep the reader guessing the outcome of the mystery. Her mysteries aren't as predictable as some of the other cozy mysteries I have read. Glidewell keeps the reader engaged and guessing from one page to the next. Also, no rushed endings! Everything is resolved befor you close the book. I would definitely recommend Ripped To Shreds to readers who are in their late teens and older as there is a character in the book that runs an adult "toy" shop. There are a couple of references to the items sold in the store expressed in "innuendo" - nothing sexual explicit. Still some may find it inappropriate for a young teen so I felt I should make mention of the content on a few pages.
