    Fast paced

Loved the story line and the mix of character's. Could not put the book down. Now that the tone has been set, i await with anticipation the start of action.

    Surprisingly likable

Okay, the writimg is as though Tom had heard about grammar and thought he'd try some - but not too much. The characters make cardboard look warm and fleshy, and they would kill without even a hat being dropped. Yet the story is engaging despite the author's weaknesses - perhaps because his personality leaks through his thin characters.

    Rise of Tyranny

Well its my own fault, I should have read a preview first. I battled through 10% before i gave up. Seems like it was written by a 10 year old for 10 year olds.

    Good read

Well written, good story, a few very minor spelling / editing mistakes, well worth reading.
