    Wyn and Cade's Story

When I get a chance to read a RaeAnne Thayne book, I know that I wont get much of anything else done because I will be reading non-stop until I'm done with it! Her latest is another winner for me! I only wish the town of Haven Point really existed because I really want to go there and meet all these characters! RaeAnne writes such believable, real characters that stay with you for a long time and her storylines are so good! I'm always anxious to jump right into her books to read about the people in Haven Point, especially previous characters from other books. In Riverbend Road, we get to meet three people that live on that street. The two main characters, Wyn & Cade, and then a new family that just moves in. All are crucial to the story. Wyn and Cade are so typical of people who grow up in a small town and have known each other all their lives. Sometimes one of them, at some point, develops stronger feelings than just friendship, and it's hard to know how to act around that person after that. This is how Wyn is with Cade. Cade is the Chief of Police and Wyn is one of the officers so it's kind of a sticky situation BUT, imagine Wyn's surprise when all of the sudden, Cade kisses her one day! What follows is a lot of emotions and denials but I loved reading about their journey. They also have police adventures! Both of them got into law enforcement because of Wyn's father, who was the previous Chief of Police and it's a big part of the book - it's very touching. I would highly recommend this book. There are several stories going on but all of them are great and make for a wonderful book!

    Fantastic

This series just keeps getting better and better and this book proves it! Wyn and Cade's story will grab you by the heart instantly. These two have always been attracted to each other but Cade's sense of loyalty to her father and brother has kept him from acting on that attraction. Wyn's convinced he only sees her as a little sister but she couldn't be more wrong. Now that he's chief of police and she works for him as a police officer she has all but given up on them. When she's injured on the job he finally has to admit at least to himself how much he really cares for her. Can they find a way to make this work?? You definitely want to grab this one and find out. I highly recommend it.

    Riverbend Road

Thayne had me laughing from the 1st page and near tears before the end of the first chapter. Her world and scene development made the story extremely enjoyable for me and I loved how each aspect came together fully. The plot was seamlessly crafted, which allowed me to experience the tale while becoming wrapped up in the lives of the characters. I loved the slight suspense that ran through the story as well. It didn't overshadow the current events but definitely did create an extra level within the story. This was definitely a very character driven novel. The main characters both captured my heart in different ways. I loved her sass and belief in herself. His battle with what he believes are dishonourable thoughts and the secrets he keeps added an air of vulnerability to an otherwise strong and indestructible individual. And the supporting cast was a great deal of fun as well. I loved how much they all added to the tale and how much I liked them all. Thayne has created a fun and heartfelt novel here. This one can easily be read on its own or as part of a memorable series. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

    Such a good story!

A whimsical small town filled with fun loving, good hearted people is the setting for this fourth book in RaeAnne Thayne’s Haven Point series! As always, we are taken on a journey of friends, family and finding love even if it’s been right in front of your face for years and years. Wynona Bailey loves being a police officer in her hometown of Haven Point, but lately she’s been feeling like she needs more in her life. More purpose, more fulfillment, and more of her sexy boss! Cade Emmett is not only the Chief of Police in Haven Point and Wyn’s boss, but he’s also her brother’s best friend and practically grew up in her house. They have a great relationship as co-workers and friends, but when Wyn gets injured and Cade is forced to face how much she means to him in every way, will they be able to figure out a way to act on the feelings they both have for each other and have a future together?

    Another winner by RaeAnne Thayne

As before, RaeAnne Thayne delivers yet another wonderful, heartwarming romantic read with Riverbend Road. I really loved returning to Haven Point revisiting some of the old characters as well as learning about the newer characters. Riverbend Road is the 4th story of the series but it can definitely be read on its own. Wyn and Cade both have feelings for each other but they have never acted on it. Wyn thinks that Cade treats her as a sister but Cade has a secret that makes him feel that he is not worthy of Wyn. But Wyn has a secret of her own as well. I loved reading how their relationship develops and I think RaeAnne has really done a really great job. Riverbend Road is not only a normal romance story, but it is about love, family, friendship, helping people and it also touches on serious issues. That's what I really love about RaeAnne's stories. And RaeAnne's description of Haven Point makes me just wish I lived there. ** I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for my honest review
