    Loved it

I received a free book and voluntarily chose to review this book. I love this author’s version of her fairy tales. She didn’t disappoint but it was not as close as some of her other fairy tales. Loved it.

This Goldilocks Has a Lot More Than Three Bears

When her entire family is assassinated by a neighbouring Lord, the golden haired Baron's daughter and last surviving heir to Berehaven must call on the magic of the barony to save her people ... but will a winter alone with an injured young soldier make it impossible to save her heart ... and does she even want to? In this retelling of the Goldilocks tale you'll find a whole lot more than 3 bears, not to mention a few rats and a romance that is sweet and hopeful and will make you want to believe in magic. As artfully crafted as all of Carlton's Medieval Fairytales, this one is perfect for a winter night hibernating with a mug of hot chocolate ... and don't worry about those noises outside your door. It's just the wind, not the bears. Bears hibernate in the winter time.

    Magic and Bears

Demelza Carlton has done it again. Once you start this book you cannot put it down. An excellent read. Love Ursula and Bernard. He is sent to kill her on orders from his father but she ends up hurting him and getting away. She comes back to the castle after the army is gone and finds him injured and unable to help himself. The love scenes are hot and the I like how Demelza works in the Bears. I received an ARC, the comments and opinions are my own. Would recommend this book to all who love romance and fairytales.

    Entirely new tale

Goldilocks is a princess, the last of her line after the massacre of her family. Three bears are only the beginning of what her valley kingdom's secrets are. Porridge is hard to get just right when cooked over a wood fire. And the choice of the right bed, and bedwarmer, during a harsh mountain winter leads to a happy ever after. Different, refreshing, intriguing.

    Enemies to Lovers-True Love Rules

Found this tale to be an interesting twist on the old fairy tale, A story about a woman whose family was destroyed around her, a man who was mistreated by his father and his king, their discovery of each other, a touch of magic to save the people that survived, their trust for each other tested and revenge for both of them
