  • Rocking new series!

Incredible start to a new series! Rock Me is the first of Carly’s new Bad Boy Bodyguard series and what a way to start! Summer has spent her entire life reaching for the stars. She is on the verge of her career taking off but is finding it a little lonely at the top. Ben was burned once by Summer and isn’t ever going to repeat the sins of his father by trusting her again. He will do his job to protect her but that’s as far as it goes. Wrong! The chemistry is still alive, the accommodations puts them almost in each other’s pockets and true love wins again. There is just enough mystery, a little family drama and introductions into the new Bodyguards we will hopefully be seeing more of very soon. I loved the story and can’t wait to see more from these guys!

  • Loved it

'ROCK ME' by Carly Phillips is the First Book in a New Series called "Bachelor Bad Boys". This is the story of Ben Hollander and Summer Michelle. Ben was Summer body guard about 4 years ago and they had a affair/relationship. Which is against Ben's company's rules for their bodyguards. So he was fired when word leaked about them. Ben assumed it was Summer that had told and gotten him fired. So he up and left her and never took any of her calls. Now 4 years later Ben works for another company where he is more like family group and he values them giving him a second chance. When this company gets a contract to be a body guard to Summer, Ben is the only man left to go. Summer is shocked to see Ben again after he up and left her. Ben wouldn't even take her calls so she could apologize for what happen to him. Summer is pretty sure that Tawny Renee a girl she though was her friend turned him in and gave news of their affair. Ben has a pretty big chip on his shoulder toward Summer and tries to make this just a job between them. But neither can forget how they felt together. This was a great second chance at love story! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

  • Awesome!!!

Rock Me is the first book in the new Bodyguard Bad Boys from Carly Phillips. I was once again pulled into the story from the very first page and devoured this book. I adore a second chance romance, and Rock Me was done so very well. I loved Summer Michelle from the moment we met her and broody and sexy Ben Hollander made me swoon a bit from the very beginning. Seriously loved they had a past and Ben was hired to be Summer's bodyguard. I felt instant chemistry between these two characters and couldn't wait for them to act upon their mutual attraction. While Ben was hired to keep Summer safe, and there were elements of suspense around who was behind the threats on Summer, I felt like this story was really more of a straight up romance. I had a pretty good idea early on who was behind everything, just not why. However, I loved how being back together brought Summer and Ben together as a couple really quickly. They just worked so well as a couple for me. I loved they really were friends as well as lovers and began to confide in each other about family issues and both wanted to help the other out with said family issues. The sex scenes between Ben and Summer were smoking hot! I loved that Summer had no problems going after what she wanted when it came to Ben and he was powerless to resist his attraction for long. I also loved the fun and tender scenes between them. I feel like I'm gushing about them as a couple, but they just gave me all the feels and I loved seeing two such strong characters find a way back to one another. Rock Me was an awesome start to the new Bodyguard Bad Boys series from Carly Phillips. She nailed the second chance romance from their very first encounter. I loved seeing Summer and Ben find their way back to each other. I love books in a series and can't wait to see each of the sexy bodyguards fall in love with each new story. • Hot for a Second Chance

I totally loved reading Rock Me, the first book in Carly Phillips new Bodyguard Bad Boys series. This is a second chance story between bodyguard Ben Hollander and pop star Summer Michelle. Summer’s stardom is poised on the brink as she competes to be the opening act for a rock star. Threats have been made against the two competitors and Ben is assigned to be the bodyguard for Summer and to keep her from danger. Part of this assignment is a déjà vu situation since Ben lost a previous bodyguard position after getting involved with Summer when she was on televised competition. However, this time around it is so much more difficult for Ben to keep his hands off of her. Despite being a few years later, these two continue to have off the chart chemistry. These two need figure out how to continue their relationship if Summer wins the competition and Ben is no longer her bodyguard. Ms. Phillips is a wonderful storyteller which she demonstrated in this story. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting it down. This is a great book with plenty of sex, romance and suspense. I highly recommend this book to other readers and am looking forward to the next book in this series, Tempt Me. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
