    A good read

Rocky Ground was an easy read and I liked the story, especially our hero Mac, but there's a lot going on and sometimes it almost felt like it was too much. While I didn't have the same level of investment that I've had for the previous books, I did still like the characters. Mac is loyal, dedicated, and just an all around nice guy. I liked that Mac wasn't interested in charging through Tiana's defenses; he understands that she has her reasons and he respects that. Mac makes it clear that he's interested but he lets Tiana go at her own pace. At first, all Tiana does is push Mac away but after talking with her beloved Aunt, Tiana realizes that she's judging Mac by the actions of her past (horrible) boyfriends. It's hard for Tiana to fully trust Mac and the slower development of that part of their relationship was the perfect pace for the circumstances. Tiana has a lot of harder edges, rightfully earned through a tough life, but she's also incredibly caring to those she considers friends. On top of that, she's raised a smart, inquisitive daughter all on her own and it's clear how much love there is between Tiana and Ella. Everything happens pretty quickly at the end of Rocky Ground so I appreciated the last chapter which helped settle everything into place; plus it was really cute to read.

    Really really good

The entire Crimson Point series has been excellent. I just love Aidan (who doesn’t love a tall, buff, Scotsman?!) and how much he loves Tiana and her adorable little girl Ella. The story is sweet, with a little adventure and action thrown in. My only complaint is it seemed to “wrap-up” too quickly. I think a few more chapters may have helped. Otherwise, two thumbs up! 👍 👍

    Great Series

Tiana has experienced some difficult situations in a short amount of time and she feels has put Ella in danger. Now she doesn't trust her instincts and she has become overprotective of Ella. That's why she won't let herself believe that Aidan doesn't have ulterior motives for befriending Ella even though he's friends with and works for her friend and neighbor Beckett. Aidan is determined to break through the barriers Tiana has erected between. With the help of Tiana's aunt, he starts to make progress and they are able to spend time together with her guard down. When someone threatens Tiana and Ella, Aidan is ready to protect them and prove his worth.

An Outstanding Action packed Suspense .

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Rocky Ground thru Netgallery . I really think this is a fantastic story . This may be one of my favorite stories . Tiana is a fierce protective momma to beautiful little Ella , after some terrible experiences . Of course a mother would be . Aidan ( Mac ) is one sexy Scotsman .He is very attracted to Tiana and loves Ella . Tiana is not so friendly to him . She's doubting her judgement of men do to the past so she's very guarded around Aidan and fights her attraction to him . This story is very intense . On the edge of your seat suspense and definitely action packed . I found myself drawn into the story because of it's intriguing danger through out the story . It's definitely a page Turner . The characters are a fabulous caring group . They're so supportive to Aidan and Tiana and Ella . This is a fantastic book in the Crimson Point Series . I highly recommend taking the time to read this story . Definitely a 5 🌟 read .

    A grand series finale!

This is the closing chapter of the Crimson Point series. And it ends the series on a high note. Tiana has had her share of troubles in her life, but she is a fantastic mom to Ella. Aiden fell for Tiana on sight and Ella had already stolen a part of his heart. Despite Tiana’s fears, she realizes what a truly good man Aiden is. Well, of course, there are trials and tribulations to get past to reach their HEA. Read this closing volume and pass through those challenges with our couple. My only complaint is that this is the finale and there will be no more books set in Crimson Point and with the people I have grown to love. Luckily, Ms. Cross writes other great series to keep us going!
