    Loved it!

Loved this story and I'm so glad to see it's just the start of a new series from this author. This is a story of family, romance, and love with a bit of mystery and suspense thrown into the mix. If you read this author's K-9 Unit series you might recognize firefighter Steve Springfield. He and his four precocious kids have now returned to the family Christmas tree ranch. His kids and their antics really make this story. Couple that with Camille and all her fun quirkiness and you have a fun holiday read. I must say I didn't see the ending coming as the mystery of all the weird fires is solved. When you find out who is responsible I think you'll be shocked! I definitely think this one should be on everyone's must read list.

    Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas

Once upon a time I found an awesome new book. Now I am still trying to find another story from Katie Ruggle! You try to find Katie 's! Steve is helping to go for a lost hiker. He finds her but not lost. Steve knows her! Her lady next door sent the call for her. Camille welds for her art to sell. Now her late grandmother's house has is on fire. She has to find Lucy, her cat. Steve has her come to stay at his home. He has 4 children, his brothers and as it is Christmas they open their Christmas store for the trees ! Someone is setting fires and it is hard to find the firebug! I had a couple to be the ones. I really fell into this story. I didn't find it so you may find the arson. This is another big fire on the site! Go to check yourself! I would recommend this book for you to read. You won't regret!

    Loved!!!

This totally got me in the Christmas mood! There were so many good things in this story! Camille, the heroine is described as a socially awkward hermit who spends all of her time creating beautiful pieces of artwork out of metal. I really wish I could have seen some of these pieces in real life based off of the way they were described. I was fascinated by Camille. Steve, the hero is a cowboy, volunteer fireman, a widower with 4 very smart kids and one of them also suffers with social anxiety. He works with his 3 brothers on their family ranch selling Christmas trees. This background setting is what truly will put you into the Christmas mood. They use horses to take families out to the rows of trees to pick one for their home. The kids get to ride the horses while the horses pull the tree to the cars. The kids in this were such a great addition to the story line. Will, the oldest boy is friendly, outgoing and always happy. Micah, is the youngest boy who suffers from social anxiety who also happens to be an artist. His interaction with Camille will make you want to cry! Then there is Zoe, the oldest girl. She's a genius with mechanics. There are few explosing from her experiments that will make you laugh. Then there is Maya, the youngest girl. She is just very loving and as adorable as you think a little girl would be. The overall feeling of family is felt in almost every page. I love to read about socially awkward characters find that one person who accepts them for who they are. When you add in that person getting a full family when she only every had her Grandma, just gives me the warm and fuzzies! This was very well written and I would love more from these characters. 5 Star Cowboy

The first book in the new Rocky Mountain Cowboys series by Katie Ruggle is a thrilling and sweet romance that captivates readers from beginning to end. Steve and Camille are strong characters that easily draw readers to them as well as fascinating them with their romance. The sparks fly from first contact, the romance is sweet and full of emotional turmoil as Camille bravely tries to interact with Steve, his kids and his brothers in order to give their attraction a chance. This vulnerability speaks to readers and tugs at heart strings while they cheer Steve and Camille toward their happily ever after and well the kids adds their own special brand of happy to the story while capturing hearts as well. The story has a steady to fast pace that keeps anticipation building throughout with small details that show that there is a danger to Camille, but the danger isn’t obvious which adds to the thrilling expectation of the story and keeps readers on the edge of their seats. There is a stunning betrayal and surprising twist that makes the suspenseful climax even more exciting and the whole holiday atmosphere of the story adds spice and goodwill to the story as the couple try to keep their family alive until Christmas. I was completely enthralled with the Springfield brothers and their holiday business and ranch combination and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

    Loved it

5 star review of Rocky Mountain Cowboy Christmas (Rocky Mountain Cowboys #1) by Katie Ruggle Katie Ruggle is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I loved her style of writing, her characters and the story line. I loved this book. From the first to the last chapter I just loved everything about single dad Steve Springfield and Camille Brandt both separately and together. This was a slow burn romance, that built throughout and had me cheering when Steve and the socially awkward Camille, finally got together . Steve’ s children almost stole the book from Steve and Camille, they had some great lines which had me racking up. The love they had for each other and their siblings was heartfelt. I love the Christmas season and this book certainly got me in the spirit. I will be looking at other books by Katie Ruggle ASAP and cannot wait to see what she has in store for this series.
