Great beginning. Add to your TBR list.

“The wrongiest of all the wronginator guys.” This is how Dree refers to her ex. Love the word “wronginator”lol. Wow! This book is a great beginning to the mystery that is Max. Dree is an interesting addition to this fray and the ending was expected, yet the potential outcome fraught with drama and difficult decisions. The beginning of Maxence’s story is the One Night in Monaco prequel. This picks up from there and plays into the previous books in the other Billionaires in Disguise group of books. Add this to your TBR list and if you have missed the previous books, grab them.

    a phenomenal romantic suspense

Rogue is a phenomenal romantic suspense that is sure to delight and entertain as it holds your heart and mind captive. Nothing can prepare you for the roller coaster ride that is Maxence. He will take you unawares and leave you completely breathless and wanting. If nothing else, you will learn why he is so addicting to the women that he meets. Dree is just your average American woman who is trying to carve out a place in the world. Luck has not looked so kindly on her recently, and she is trying to figure out how to come out on top. Luck in life is like luck at gambling. The stakes are never in your favor and the house always wins. However, maybe a helping hand can pull you up for a few minutes to take a breath of clean air and think clearly for awhile. When that hand is taken away, you are left with unsure legs and not a lot of options. Can Dree create herself a new life, or will she be pulled under by unsuspecting evil that is stalking her every move? I have been dying to learn more about Maxence, and this book left me with a morsel of that info. Now that I have had a taste, I have to have more. Max doesn't know what to do with Dree as she captivates him like no other. Is she just a passing entertainment, or does Fate have more in store for this unlikely pair? Blair Babylon has whet my already rabid curiosity for Maxence, and now I can't wait for more! He is such a gentle yet fierce soul that I just want to unravel and savor every step of the way.

Fantastic First in a series – I need more now!

I've been a huge fan of Blair Babylon's writing for several years now. Her books have never disappointed me and that goes double for Rogue, the first book in her much-anticipated series about Maxence. Blair's stories have always been hot but this one might be the hottest yet. I have to get this out of the way: this book ends in a cliffhanger BUT… Blair Babylon is one of the few authors that I trust to actually finish a series that she starts AND she doesn't make us wait a horribly long time between books in a series. I know that the next book is already finished… So, for the story. Fans have been eagerly awaiting Maxence's story. We've caught glimpses of him in other books and his character has been a bit mysterious. (You don't have to read any other books to start enjoying this series but I'd recommend reading the three Runaway Billionaires books for best enjoyment.) There have been hints that Max was going to become a priest and we see a bit more of that in this book. The blurb for the book is great so I'm not going to restate it here. I will tell you that Rogue captured and held my attention from beginning to end. I admit that towards the end of the book it was easy to see what was coming (I'm sure that was on purpose); but it was still an OMG moment when it came. Rogue was also LOL funny in places. Dree and Maxence agree to not disclose who they really are and what they really do and this continues the humorous thread throughout the book. Dree is delightfully naïve about some things and never really seems to figure out the real name of the country that Maxence is from (you have to read it to understand). In conclusion, this story has a little bit of everything: it's funny, witty, sad, intriguing, suspenseful and just plain fantastic. I can't wait for the next book to come out. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author (I also pre-ordered a copy).

Passion, Friendship And A Desire To Help Each Othe

Dree & Auggie Immersed In Paris & Each Other.😍🔥👍 Rogue: Billionaires in Disguise: Maxence, #1 *Sigh 😍* We're finally on the road to learning all about the sexy & mysterious Maxence!🎉 He is usually off in some far flung part of the world giving his time & money to charity for the Catholic Church. Currently he's got a few days to kill in Paris before his next assignment starts. It's in a bar he meets & then rescues Dree from her dangerous choices whilst she's very drunk. His Galhad complex has kicked in again.🙈 After she's sobered up enough to be in control, he escorts her to her lodgings. She has a bucket list she'd like his help with, as long as he's disappeared by the morning!😉🔥 He's only mortal, what's he to do when he's asked to help a damsel in a dress? Take it off of her, of course.🔥😉🔥 This is the start of a four day tryst that opens them both to moving on from past hurt & pain. Enjoying each other, Paris and their anonymity. They make daring rescues, thwart kidnappers & play tag in the Louvre!💕😎 Then they part for good to catch separate planes ..... 👋😔 This is a fun, seductive read. Max/Auggie is clearly a deep & complex man that has scars on his heart & soul.💔 Dree is quite sheltered in the face of worldly things but has a deep honesty and caring that flows from the page!🙏 She's been so badly hurt & used and she thinks it's her own fault for being too trusting. The dichotomy of these two characters couldn't be greater on the surface but deep down they seem very similar in many ways. They both crave a deep connection but look for it from the wrong people, she's as bound in her chains of poverty as he is by his family name & money, it just give him more expensive & luxurious places to suffer! This is an intriguing first full novel of this series and I can't wait for more!!🙏🌟 Debbie, 1970, UK

    Lying the Truth

Maxence and Dree have four days to live a lifetime. They spend their days seeing the sights in Paris, and their nights taking in each other. Dree says she only wants lies, but the truth is stranger than fiction. Both of them tell stories of people, places and events that can only be fabricated. They’ll never see each other again, so why not tell the truth, right? Their story is full of adventure, mystery and steamy sex. I can’t wait to read more!
