  • Book #1 of crowns and glory

I always read through out my days mainly sword and sorcery, very little else. I really enjoyed David Eddings, R. H. Salvatore, Terry Brooks and the very best Tolkien and R. E. Howard and once in a while H. P. Lovecraft for something totally off the wall. I was a member of the sci fi book club for years. This book is the first novel that I have read since my lady died in 2014. I really got into it mid way through and couldn't put it down and can't wait to get the next ones. I am very greatful that I came across them and would like to thank you for opening my mind up again to ulternate world's that I can get lost in. The last 3 years have been a sickening reality being alone. I have some place to go now. Kudos to you and keep up the excellent work. George Johnson

  • Too many storylines

Book 1 had Thanos and Ceres together. It ended with Ceres being told that Thanos was dead (he wasn't) and so she no longer had a protector in the court. She gets accused of being a criminal and sent off to a prison island - except the boat sinks on the way there. After Thanos recovers from his injuries, he starts to lead a rebellion against the crown but then he stops and resumes his life as a prince. The book also has more characters who are associated with Ceres and will probably work towards re-uniting with her. There are a lot of mixed stories in the book and perspectives change frequently.
