    Thanks for your feedback!

    Former EM2/EM3 (SW)

Great beginning and explains how the founder of SEAL Team 6 had created chaos and mixed emotions in SpecWar and Naval Community; and made reputation of the team today... much controversy surrounds Capt Marcinko and his "Merry Merauders ", but certainly has my respect, and appreciation of exposing a very whipped government.

BOAD (Bit of a Dick ... Marcinko)

Self absorption at its finest (bonafide narcissist) Misplaced braggadocio, chest thumper extaordinaire Bragging about renegade, buck the system behavior is somewhat universally admired, but bragging about exploits in infidelity only expose Marcinko's true character, even more than the obsession with bloodlust in the name of god and country. Marcinko writes to justify, but there is a sense that even he isn't buying what he's selling.

Hold on to you lug nuts!

This book from beginning to its end is a balls to the wall account of one man's rise to make a difference and his demise by the same Navy he worked for. There's nothing sweet about this book it is hard, in your face and has a 'I don't give a damn what you think' attitude about it. From within its pages you feel the heart and soul of a man driven to make a difference. Plus, you have a man who cares about the mission, his men and himself in that order. Excellent book and a very inspiring read!
