    A MUST READ!!!

Fabulous! Rogues Rush In is a Regency Duet by Tessa Dare and Christi Caldwell, both are amazing authors. I love this duet as I feel both author compliment each other in style and story. If you have not read either of these lady’s wonderful books, you are truly missing out. This book starts out with Tessa Dare’s Story His Bride for the Taking. This was truly a charming feel good story of marriage of convince or was it? So many misunderstandings and heart break. Tessa has a way of making her characters come to life and she can write an awesome picture as well. This story has a great twist in the end and there is nothing I like better than a good twist. Left at the alter, Miss Mary Clayton is bond for ruination and scandal until her brother’s best friend and guardian, Sebastian Ives, Lord Byrnes comes to the rescue. His Duchess for a Day is Christi Caldwell’s story and what a story it is! This story was also a story of convince. Christi has an amazing way of describing her character and this story truly comes alive for me. The deception in this story was caused by someone else and misunderstandings is an understatement. This story starts out with Mrs Elizabeth Terry (not really her name) seeing her former best friend and husband, Crispin Ferguson, the Duke of Huntington after 10 long years. How I loved both stories in this book and I highly recommend you take the time to read both wonderful stories. ***This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.

    Loved the Hero's! (and Heroines"

I loved Mary and Sebastian's story! It was unusual in the way it played out with her being a little older than the hero. Sebastian was a great hero who see's himself as taking care of everyone. Mary was the prefect "discarded" heroine. The twist in the story at the end is going down as one of my favorite endings! Elizabeth and Crispin's story was different in that the heroine ran away after the wedding instead of the hero! Elizabeth ran to protect Crispin without telling him why. Crispin searched for years and after finally finding her, they learn things about each other that changes their minds about their choice of paths in life. The ending in this had me cheering! (I do love the name Crispin!) The only thing I missed in this story was I wished it had an epilogue! Thank you ladies for the ARC, I was blessed to be able to read this ahead of time and fall in love with your stories!

Excellent chemistry between two wonderful authors

His Bride For The Taking - Tessa Dare ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋 Written with her own personal style , this is a funny , and romantic story , of two childhood friends who fall into marriage. It’s perfect and wonderful, and in parts hilarious, I don’t have enough stars to rate it , somehow 5 doesn’t seem sufficient. His Duchess for a Day - Christi Caldwell ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋 I’ve never burst into tears in a butterfly house before , that is until I read that scene, that’s the part of this story that will stay with me , the one that will always cement this book and the characters, Crispin and Elizabeth in my soul . The Queen of Regency has written another gem , this one just as blinding in brilliance as her others . Enough said.

    Two Wonderful Stories!!

When you combine stories from two amazing authors, what do you get? Wonderful stories not to be missed by two of my favorite historical romance writers. Two stories of friends to lovers that will only leave you longing for more from these great storytellers! His Bride for the Taking by Tessa Dare was such a delightful story of childhood friends who end up together by chance. Or was it really? Sebastian has loved Mary since childhood but has never acted on that feeling. She's his best friend's sister after all!! But when Mary is left at the alter, the only solution was to marry her himself! Full of great humor and a beautiful romance, I was left smiling as I turned the last page. Christi Caldwell's His Duchess for a Day is another story of friends who were young when they married, but the bride Elizabeth, ran away before they truly became man and wife. After years apart, Crispin ( Yes, this is finally his story!), now a Duke, finds her and his request is that she come back for a day to show they are married, thus the title. Can old wounds and misunderstandings be healed? They had loved each other once and that feeling still existed. In typical Christi Caldwell style, the characters come alive and you cannot help but fall in love with them and cheer them on to happiness! I loved these stories and they both deserve more than 5 stars, but don't take my word. Read for yourself and prepare for your heart to smile!!

    Fantastic Duet

His for the Taking by Tessa Dare A code of honor – never, ever make a move on your best friend’s sister. Sebastian, Lord Byrne, has lived by that code from the moment he met Mary Clayton. Even with the death of her brother the most Sebastian has done is make sure she is protected. Now with Mary alone at the altar he offers marriage in name only to protect her from ruin and a life of spinsterhood. Mary Clayton has now been left at the altar twice; though she cannot be sad about it. When her deceased brother’s friend, who she has known since childhood, offers her his name to keep her from being ruined she must decide between a spinster’s life, a marriage in name only, or fighting for a true marriage. Can Sebastian keep his vow of a marriage in name only or will Mary’s temptation bring her what she really wants? A sense of honor, a woman who knows what she wants, a little subterfuge and a happily ever after tale from the talented Tessa Dare. His Duchess for a Day by Christi Caldwell Elizabeth Terry has spent 10 years trying to convince herself that she’s better off without Crispin Ferguson. While being an instructor at a finishing school is not what she envisioned her life to be she knows she’s better off there than tied to a man who thinks of her as a mistake. Crispin Ferguson, Duke of Huntington, has spent 10 years looking for the wife who broke his heart. A chance encounter soon leads Crispin to his runaway bride and he requests she briefly join him to prove to the ton that she exists; then she can go back to the life she has. As the two get to know each other again certain facts come to light; facts that are the crux of their separation. Can these two regain what they had or will outside forces continue to keep them apart. I absolutely adore Crispin and Elizabeth! As always Christi Caldwell writes a tale full of heartbreak and happiness rolled together with characters you root for and others you want to slap.
