    Excellent

I've really enjoyed this entire series and this book is a fantastic addition. I like Ms. Archer's writing style and the way she so nicely blends the gruff workings of the MC world with a sweet heartfelt romance. In this book we see Bam Bam get pulled in by the very off limits MC princess Amber. She is determined to get answers about her father's death and Amber is not accepting the "club business" excuse for not answering her questions. She finds herself in a couple of rough spots and somehow Bam is always there to bail her out. She doesn't want to get pulled into the MC world again but the more time she spends with Bam the harder he is to resist. There's lots of action and romance in this one making it one great read. I highly recommend it.

    4 Stars!

If you are like me and enjoy a good MC book but want it as a safe read without all the club women and cheating, then you need to read this series by Gillian Archer. It's completely safe. Well, there is violence but you don't have to worry about the men straying. It may take them a bit to acknowledge their feelings but so far the men are loyal to the women. This one was a bit more exciting due to the fact the Amber drew the attention of Ruslan from the Russian mafia. It's not a love triangle but he does seem to think he's in love with her. He was sweet in a psychotic sort of way. Amber can thank Ruslan for getting Bam in her life because of his stalkerish ways. I liked seeing Bam's protectiveness towards Amber and I loved them as a couple. They are younger and you can see a bit of immaturity there but overall I really liked this couple. Hooked on Smart & Sexy Bikers

My first ever Gillian Archer read and I'm impressed! I really liked Bam, the strong, mostly silent, Viking biker. He took his commitments to family - blood or patched - very seriously. Amber was smart and hard-working with a well-balanced mix of savvy and sass that was appropriate for her age, while not being annoying. Together, they're an unexpectedly perfect match. MC romance can be a tough genre to navigate. I want it to feel "real" but I don't want it to be too "real" - you know? I like the balance that Archer struck with the True Brothers. The focus was mostly on the brotherhood, rather than club business. There were scenes of their criminal activity, but none of it violated my sense of justice so it wasn't an issue. Unlike a lot of MC romance, there was very little talk of club chicks, just a couple of funny stories over beers among the guys. There were no scenes of random clubhouse debauchery. Loses a star because the hot guy on the cover bears NO resemblance to the hot bearded biker who stars in the story.

Hold onto your helmet Bam's story is a bumpy ride!

With each book in her True Brothers of the MC series. Gillian Archer leaves us both satisfied and wanting more. Amber lost her father who was in the Brotherhood last year. In her eyes, the Brotherhood abandoned her family. Her brother was trying to get into the club and moved out. She had to drop out of school to take care of her mom who has become a drunk. And because the Brotherhood won't give her the answers she wants about his death. She makes the mistake of going to the Russian mob to find out who killed her father. Volksya Bratva assures her the killer is dead. As she goes to leave he kisses her and she finds herself kissing him back. Then Bam literally runs into her. Being a quote MC princess he is told to get her out of there now. It's too late for both her and the brotherhood. Bratva has decided he wants Amber for himself. Bam wants her too, but knowing the brotherhood would never let him be with her. Amber finds herself drawn to Bam. This is where our ride begins. So put on your helmet and hold on this is a fast-moving joy ride all the way to the end.

Violent background but overall 4 1/2 stars

I honestly don't know how I feel about this book. It is an extremely well-written story with an amazing plot. The romance was about a deep connection between 2 special people. I will give it a 4 1/2 star rating but IMO it is definitely an adult read. Yes, the sex is steamy. Yes, the language is adult. Yes, from my perspective, it is an adult read because of the extreme violence depicted. For me, however, this story was like reading about a violent gang who happened to ride motorycles. While I usually enjoy MC books, this type of violence is not my genre.
