    Royal Tease

Roone's story! Yay! I fell for Roone in the last series. Personal guard for the royal family. His new assignment is protecting the secret princess. Yes, Lucas and Sebastian have a sister who has no idea she is the daughter of the dead King and half-sister to the new king. Rumors of a threat to her have a team undercover guarding her. Roone follows the rules. He keeps telling himself he can't have her. The conversations with himself are funny and very personal. He is placed in the same PR company as a co-leader. Not that she's happy about it. Jessa is witty and a little snarky. She's gorgeous and funny. All the things Roone can't resist. He wants to tell her the truth, however, he's outvoted and has to continue to pretend. A work test puts them on several mandatory dates where they learn more about each other and just how compatible they are in every way. She doesn't want to break the company rules about fraternizing and lose the security of her job. Her youth was spent moving over and over. Finally, she has a home and a job that means everything. Will Roone be able to convince her to give them a chance while keeping secrets and protecting her and searching for her enemies? Both Roone and Jessa captured my heart. I wanted them to find their happiness. Will they? Will the enemy interfere? What about the deception? Will she find out and lose her trust in him? Gonna have to wait for the next book to find out for sure. Excellent storytelling, building characters and capturing the reader for the next book. I strongly recommend Royal Tease.

Roone Ainsley! I've been waiting for your story,

Roone Ainsley! I've been waiting for your story, and Nana Malone didn't disappoint. Jessa is the ideal compliment for Roone. The chemistry depicted between the two characters is equal parts funny, acerbic, and sexy. I laughed and cheered while Roone and Jessa stubbornly fought their attraction. Their respective internal dialogues with self and relentless appendages are insightful and humorous. Ariel is the friend we all need. Of course N.M. left me hanging with an amazing cliffhanger, that has me looking forward to the next book.

    Tease me

Royal Tease (1 of 2 in the Royals United duet) is part of Nana Malone’s Royals series. I knew when I started this book that it was part 1 of 2. My brain understood this fact but my heart did not. As usual, Nana Malone writes a witty and engaging book that leaves you (eagerly) wanting more. I cannot wait for the conclusion to be released! The lost princess has been found! Jessa is a smart woman with a steady career. Although her future looks bright, her past is a series of challenges. Her mother dies during her youth and she had to watch her father deteriorate from a mental illness. Always worried that people would come and take her away, Jessa’s father insisted on continual movement. This made it difficult for Jessa to form lasting relationships. What she will discover (after her father’s death) is that perhaps her father wasn’t as ill as initially perceived and there might be some truth to his delusions. Roone is the swoon worthy guard assigned as the undercover protection for Jessa. He struggles with his own youth and, much like Jessa, has difficulty forming relationships. Roone’s mission is to keep Jessa safe. The problem is that his attraction to her is growing stronger each day. While he tells himself to stay professional, he is falling deeper the more time that they spend together. Will Roone finally find love? From their initial meeting, sparks fly. Roone and Jessa have chemistry that blossoms through their arranged dates and close proximity. She challenges him and he loves it! Malone creates characters and dialogue that had me laughing out loud. The book has romance, intrigue, humor and is just plain fun to read. I highly recommend that you read Roone & Jessa’s story and join me in watching the calendar for the conclusion to this very entertaining story!

The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants!!

Total 4.5 star read!! I absolutely adore this series about the Royal family of the Winston Isles. Royal Tease focuses on Roone and Jessa. Although I am sure you can read this one as a stand alone, I highly implore you to read the series from the beginning, starting with Royals Uncover. I promise you, you will not be sorry. This story did not start out as action packed as some of the other ones in the series, but, boy oh boy, does Nana Malone make up for it at the end!! HOLY SMOKES!! She really knows how to keep her readers coming back for more!! Roone, who is a Royal Guard and the best friend of the King and Prince, is about as straight-laced and by the book as they come, so would expect Roone to fall off track, but that is exactly what happens once he sets sights on Jessa. Roone has been tasked with duty to protect her from known and unknown enemies alike despite the fact that poor Jessa has no idea about who she really is. However, Jessa is a strong, fiercely independent woman, who also happens to be very leery about things, so she is not falling for just anything. Yet, these two are seriously attracted to each other. So, we are left with Roone and Jessa facing a huge dilemma. I seriously cannot wait for the conclusion to Roone and Jessa's story in Teasing the Princess.

Review: Royals United 1: Royal Tease

Royal Tease by Nana Malone is the first book in a new duet titled Royals United . This series is connected to other Royal series by this author but can completely be read as a standalone duet. Told in dual POV between Roone, the bodyguard undercover to protect a princess that doesn't know her true heritage, and Jessa, the lost princess who is battling her own demons and is determined to keep everyone, especially Roone, at a distance. With some hilarious interactions between the stubborn Roone and sassy Jessa, and also between Roone's undercover partner in charge of the mission Ariel, this book has sass, sex, steam, and drama making it a wonderful story and I'm eager for the conclusion in Teasing The Princess. Enjoy!
