Another great installment from the Royally series!

I've been a fan of the Royally series since the first book and seeing the standalone about Wessco's royal matriarch is just too good to pass up. I love how driven and regal Queen Lenora had been ever since she was a young girl. She grew up knowing her destiny was to rule the kingdom and that heavy burden fell upon her when her father died suddenly. At nineteen, she was thrust with a crown and a throne.  But as Shakespeare said, "Heavy is the head that wears the crown." There are a lot of expectations for the young queen and getting married was the number one priority. In a twist of fate, she met Edward, the brother of her best friend Thomas.  I loved how this story humanizes the grand matriarch of Wessco whom we have seen in the other books as tough as nails. But here in the story, we saw how she fell in love with Edward and how she had been completely smitten by him. I love how romantic and swoony their story had been. I can't wait for more stories from the Royally series by Emma Chase!

    Incredible love story

I was SO excited when I saw Emma Chase was writing this book. I absolutely LOVED the entire Royally series so I had high hopes for this book and I was absolutely not let down. This book is one that will stay with me, one that I will go back and reread time and time again. I laughed, I cried and I absolutely fell in love with this book. If you haven't read any of the other books in the Royally series you can absolutely start here. This is the story of Lenora and Edward and it is absolutely a fascinating and beautiful read. Your emotions will be pulled every which way but I know in the end you'll feel as satisfied as I did. I admire, respect and adore Lenora. She is one hell of a strong character. She's a woman who knows what needs to be done and does it-no matter what. She isn't afraid to speak her mind while still respecting traditions that have been in place for forever. Watching her grow and become the Queen she truly is was so gratifying. I wanted to hug her several times throughout this book, give her a shoulder, a friend to lean on. The grace and poise she has is tremendous and coupled with her passion? She's a force to be reckoned with. She may be my favorite Emma Chase heroine. Edward. Holy swoon. This man is positively breathtaking. He's smart and strong, which Lenora needs. He also respects her, which is something she demands but isn't given so freely from other men in her life. He's a beacon of support when she needs it. Watching him fall for her was beautiful. Just beautiful. These two together have chemistry in spades, truly. I love their banter, absolutely love it. I loved watching them grow together as a couple, figuring out their journey and what each of them could offer the other. Their sexy times were off the chart hot-I think my kindle may be permanently melted. This entire story is just beautiful. It is heartbreaking. It is sweet. It is funny. It touched me and had me bawling at moments. The writing flows and the pacing is just perfect. I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is absolutely one of my top books of the year. I absolutely loved it and would give it more stars if I could.

    Royally Amazing

Royally Yours is a short, sweet and sexy read that screams of romance and girl power. I enjoyed reading where it all began. Lenora has been groomed to become queen ever since she was young. She was a lonely creature and wasn't really prepared until she had no choice. Good thing, she was surrounded by good people. I adore her friendship with Thomas, they formed a bond ever since the both of them were introduced to each other. Their loneliness brought the two of them together. Thomas brought life into her, and introduced her to loads of things, and in exchange, she became one of his closest friends. When she finally became queen, she was forced to marry to strengthen her reign. She didn't expect to marry the man whom Thomas just talked to her about. A man who loves adventures and was never really home for a long time, except now. Because he has a promise he needed to keep. And that promise brought the two of them together. It was a perfectly-paced romance - the attraction was already there when they first met. But the love? Emma Chase's readers would witness how it would grow, and how it made the already-strong queen, stronger, with the man by her side. There wasn't so much drama (thank goodness!) just enough to spice things up a bit. Royally Yours quick read that would make you swoon and would make your day.

Beautiful, epic love story! A must read!

What an absolutely epic, beautiful love story. My heart feels so full! I adored every single thing about this, every detail and connection. It was filled with a wonderful mix of humor, emotion, and love, and it was brilliantly executed. Amazing read! This was such a heartfelt story, I was either smiling from the wonderful humor or trying not to cry from all the amazing moments that take place. I loved learning every single thing about Lenora. I already adored her as the strong, older queen she was in the other books but learning her history, of how she truly became to be was wonderful. Such a sweet girl full of sass who has to take on a very serious role. There was just so much feeling and emotion behind it all, some of it felt absolutely crushing and devastating. But it's these things and moments that form who Lenora is. As for Edward, he was the definition of swoon-worthy. I loved how sexy and confident he was. I loved his devotion to his brother and what he'd do for him. I loved him opening up to Leonora and challenging her and being her champion. Their chemistry was amazing and I loved watching them ignite. Lenora was so inexperienced but watching that playful heat between them build was awesome. I loved those steamy and passionate times. I loved and adored a beautiful friendship that Lenora formed in her youth and how it played out into adulthood. It just felt so poignant and real. I like how her friendships and bonds form who she is. I loved the parallels of her and her sister to her grandchildren in the other books in the series. I loved the connections and characters that were introduced that play a part of the other books as well. The story is set in the 50's, a totally different time for women and I love how Lenora dealt with issues related to that time period and how she stood up for herself. Her dealing with a group of grumpy old men is priceless. The attention to detail and how the author brought it all together was amazing. There’s emotion, humor, and a bit of drama. There are heartbreaking moments and entertaining ones. There is passion and heat and so much love. This had everything I could have wanted and so much more. Hands down Emma Chase is a favorite, go-to author for me and this is one of the best things she's ever written. Having read this series in order, I wasn't sure what to expect since I know Lenora as a much older queen. It was an absolute eye opener getting to see her younger self, the things I loved about her in previous stories kick into place and mean even more. Lenora and Edward have a beautiful, heartfelt love story that's playful and passionate, I couldn't have asked for more. There were just so many precious things that brought this story to life. Absolute perfection!

    Hilarious and beautiful

Royally Yours is the fourth book in the Royally series by the lovely, Emma Chase. You can read it as a standalone but I do recommend reading the previous books. If you haven’t read, you will definitely want to after this story. If you follow my reviews then you know I rarely read the synopsis. I had no idea this book was about the queen! I love Queen Lenora. When I discovered that I knew it was going to be an epic story especially when I teared up at the prologue. Lenora was born to be a queen. She learned at a young age what it all meant. And at the young age of nineteen her life had changed. She was no longer a princess. She was a Queen. It did not scare her and even if it did, she would not show it. Men already doubted her abilities, she would not cower. She would reign. She was prepared to make changes to Wessco. But there was one she didn’t see coming. Her advising council and the people of Wessco wanted her to be married. It was not want she wanted but she go through with it as her duty. What she didn’t expect was Edward Rourke. The man who would change her love of life forever. Edward left home and his title ten years ago. He didn’t want to sit and talk politics with untrustworthy and stuffy businessmen, politicians, and dukes. He wanted adventure. To find the next treasure. To give to others who needed them to survive. He did just that and now he was called home. And when he got there, he made a promise. A promise that he intends on keeping not because he feels obligated but because he wants to. He desires to. The moment he saw Lenny he knew she was the most beautiful, infuriating, intriguing and strongest woman he ever saw. The only woman for him. Edward and Lenny’s love story is brilliant. I loved Lenora in the previous books even when I was mad at her. After getting to know her as not only as the queen but as a woman...I fully adore her. She is funny, witty, smart, strong, and even sexy. Edward brings out the real Lenny. The one that was holding back until she felt his love. And Edward...the adventurous, filthy, sweet, and smart Edward. I LOVE him. *Swoon*. Together, their chemistry and love reaches into their souls. Overall...it’s my favorite book in the series! It had the perfect blend of humor, swoon, and emotion. I laughed so hard and cried so much. It’s makes me want to go back and read the previous books again.
