    Ruining Miss Wrotham

I have found another book from Emily. This is a deeper, adult book. Not for under 18. Tissues are very important for this story. This story line will take you on a wild ride! Nell got a letter that her young sister Sophie ran away from a wedding. She got a letter from Sophie to get her out of a brothel. Nell meets with Mordecai and he joins her hunt for her. He is a bastard but Nell overlooks that. He goes through the dangerous areas. He looks for Billy English and got what he wasn't wanting. He had to fight. Major Spoiler! They look everywhere. Nell has a birthday that will give her a Wish! Spoiler. She didn't get what she wanted but saved a lot of lives. It took a time to find Sophie. Again not what she wanted and got a baby. Major Spoiler! There is a lot of sex in this story. Just to let you know. There are a lot of spoilers all over this story. It took me three days to read it. Please check on this story! Choose to give this book a chance! I fell into this book! You won't regret it! I volunteered to read and review this book.

    Intelligent and intriguing

Once again we have strong and well drawn leading characters, a storyline that is nothing like any I've ever read before, excellent research on both the period and locations and a return of some favourite characters from earlier books in the series. You can read this as a stand alone, but it would probably be better to pick up earlier books first. I received this book gratis as an advance review copy and will certainly be keeping it and enjoying it again.

One of the best of its kind!

I really enjoy Regency romances and this is one of the best of its kind. Such a well written story with never any dull moment. Totally worth the sleepless night that I spent reading it! Can't wait to read more of Emily Larkin books. I received a free copy of this book and voluntary chose to review it.

A romantic tale that's hard to put down

The first time I picked up one of Emily Larkin’s books and read the blurb about faery godmothers, I thought that sounded a bit silly and almost didn’t bother to read it, but I read it anyway… and then I bought everything else she had written. This series of books would suit fans of historical romance generally; the supernatural elements are only a small part of the tales, fun, but they don’t detract from the books generally. The central characters in in her stories are all very intelligent, likeable and well developed, and the plots keep readers guessing, both around the romance between the central characters and other narratives running through the books. Ruining Miss Wrotham is no exception, I particularly liked the central characters Mordecai Black, who is open minded, kind despite his large and imposing appearance, and Miss Wrotham who makes a determined and resourceful heroine. The story is not just about the romance between the characters, but follows the search for Miss Wrotham’s missing sister. I was given an advance reader’s copy of this book, which I am very happy to review, thoroughly enjoyed, and couldn’t put down once I had started.
