    Fantastic!

Love this series and have been anxiously awaiting Wolf's story since the last book Dirty Mother. Wolf is a good man who sometimes makes bad decisions. As a Texas Ranger and a member of the Uncertain Saints MC he understands that sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands with both the law and your personal life. His personal life has been dealt some pretty crappy hands over the last few years. He is now the adoptive father of his best friend's son, a young boy whom he loves like his own, his wife and unborn child were brutally murdered, his sister barely escaped a horrific nightmare with her life and Raven (the woman he has finds himself thinking about day and night since her rescue) has decided to leave town. While he can't change many of the wrongs life has thrown his way he isn't willing to let Raven just walk away for good. He will give he the space she seems to need, for now, but he will find a way to bring her home and back to him. Raven has escaped a nightmare of epic proportions. Her and another woman were repeatedly beaten and raped before being rescued by Wolf and his friends. She found herself falling for her savior hard and fast but with him having a girlfriend and her lack of good choices in the past she feels like her best move is to move away and try to start her life over. She moves to a new town, find a job that comes with an apartment and is finally making some progress when fate brings Wolf back into her life but unfortunately for them fate also brought danger with him. Now the only way to stay safe is to return home with Wolf but will she be able to keep her heart safe from the man in the process? Wolf and Raven were great together. Wolf was pure alpha, protective, sexy and dominating but Raven didn't let him walk all over her. You could feel all the emotions between these two throughout the book. Ms. Vale just has a way with words and this series that always leaves you craving more. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Loved it!

This is the first time I have read anything by this author. I have been missing out! I just went through and added the series to my TBR. This book is the latest and I am not sure if it last in the series or not, but you don’t need to read the others prior to enjoy this story. After reading this though I want to go back and read them in order! Wolf is a member of the Uncertain Saint’s MC, but he is also a Texas Ranger. Interesting right? The story has developed characters and you fall in love with Wolf and Raven. They are such damaged souls that find love after going through hell. Wolf is alpha bossy, possessive and a loving single dad. He was awarded custody of his best friends’ little boy after they were attacked. Only the little boy survived. This really added to Wolf’s appeal! He is amazing with the little guy! Wolf and Raven have known each other and lived in the same town and Raven is friends with Wolf’s sister, so that adds to the story. They both had been attracted to each other for a long time but never acted on it. There are some misunderstandings and a lot of twists and turns as the story unfolds. There is suspense and a few surprises that come out. I am not going to give anything away, as it needs to be read and experienced by the reader, as every reader reads the same book differently. This was a great read and I look forward to reading more by this author!
