    Fantastic!

Love this series and have been anxiously awaiting Wolf's story since the last book Dirty Mother. Wolf is a good man who sometimes makes bad decisions. As a Texas Ranger and a member of the Uncertain Saints MC he understands that sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands with both the law and your personal life. His personal life has been dealt some pretty crappy hands over the last few years. He is now the adoptive father of his best friend's son, a young boy whom he loves like his own, his wife and unborn child were brutally murdered, his sister barely escaped a horrific nightmare with her life and Raven (the woman he has finds himself thinking about day and night since her rescue) has decided to leave town. While he can't change many of the wrongs life has thrown his way he isn't willing to let Raven just walk away for good. He will give he the space she seems to need, for now, but he will find a way to bring her home and back to him. Raven has escaped a nightmare of epic proportions. Her and another woman were repeatedly beaten and raped before being rescued by Wolf and his friends. She found herself falling for her savior hard and fast but with him having a girlfriend and her lack of good choices in the past she feels like her best move is to move away and try to start her life over. She moves to a new town, find a job that comes with an apartment and is finally making some progress when fate brings Wolf back into her life but unfortunately for them fate also brought danger with him. Now the only way to stay safe is to return home with Wolf but will she be able to keep her heart safe from the man in the process? Wolf and Raven were great together. Wolf was pure alpha, protective, sexy and dominating but Raven didn't let him walk all over her. You could feel all the emotions between these two throughout the book. Ms. Vale just has a way with words and this series that always leaves you craving more. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Wolf and Raven

my heart has been broken for Wolf ever since he was introduced back in the SWAT series. he was not given any chance of meeting his child, but then he did get the chance to be a father to his son Nathan. Raven was there when his sister needed someone, while she was being held captive. there was an attraction there between them, one that some where not to happy about, mainly being his deceased wife's family the Hail's. the was also the issue of Wolf being in a relationship at the time that they meet. but once he was free it was now time for him to act on the feelings that he was keeping hidden for this girl. Raven was a strong female character, and even when she was told that she needed to be babysat. she didn't want to give someone else power over her. even when she tried to run and hide Wolf was right there to bring her back. Wolf wanted to protect her, but also to have her as his own. she couldn't get away from him no matter what, he found her. i wanted Wolf to find his HEA, and Raven was just the woman to give it to him. more questions are now being asked in my head about the mysterious Rapheal (Rafe) after he made himself known again.
