  • Loved

I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this book you could feel their connection could be felt from the beginning to the end. The storyline has a smooth flow from page one to the last. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Love this new series

If you have ever read a book from Mary E Twomey before, this book will not disappoint. This new series is a Hispanic series. Amelia is a therapist that has powers. This is her journey. Meeting new people and getting trouble finding her. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Can't wait for the next book

There is absolutely nothing that I would want to change in this book. The characters are superbly crafted and have such depth and vibrancy to them that they leap off the pages and the story itself is easy to read and kept me enthralled from page one making me read far too late into the night and keeping me away from everything I should have been doing. Adelita is a therapist who has worked incredibly hard to get where she is. She and her mother both worked as cleaners to get her through school and then on the day of her graduation her mom is killed in a bus crash but Adelita is pulled from the wreckage by a mysterious stranger who tells her that she will be as strong as she is gentle and it turns out she has an incredibly gentle nature with a physical strength to match. When she is attacked outside work one day two men and a wolf come to her rescue and then kidnap her. I loved the evolution of the relationship between Adelita and the three men, Rafi, Santos and Cruz. As you get to know each of these characters better the more they creep into your heart and the more invested you become in each of their stories. Each of them will fill your heart, break your heart and give you hope but there is a dangerous organisation that is after Adelita. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Excellant

Spectacular as always! Mary has a way of bringing characters to life and in this book she does not disappoint. The story is about Adelita, who had worked very hard to get to be a therapist only to have otherworldly events rip it all away from her in moment. Read on to see what happens.

  • Brilliant start to a new series

This is a new and intense series by Ms Twomey. With some complex characters that are unique and we’re either going to love them or hate then by the end of this series. With intriguing world building this book was able to hold me captive and I really didn’t want it to end now just to wait for the next book in this what I hope to be brilliant series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
