    Outstanding & riveting

This book is outstanding, the depth & details to understanding this savage beast is completely riveting. You are sucked into his mental state you are transformed into thoughts of a wild beastly wolf. He truly is the ultimate skookum character. With his dark & dangerous sexy temperament. But he's so much more as he meets & falls for Ann. She has a bit of her own crazy psyche as well. Their struggles are triumphant, your heart races throughout this story as together & separately they overcome obstacles no one could battle. I hope more than anything hope there is another book. As I read & read I kept trying to figure out how she would tie in the brothers reunion. How the stories connect, how the brothers become this mythical royal mafia warlords we expect them to be together, but it never came. But I also felt the other books left with cliffhangers or unspoken & unwritten stories still left to be told. I practically beg this author on hands & knees for more, please end their stories together. Please give us a novella an epilogue just something of how together they take over the mafia as the prophecy so many years before spoke of. Give us endings to their lives & hearts so full of love as you have in each story. Please give us a true conclusion.

    Exciting and intense!

What an exciting, action packed and sexy story! From the very first few pages I was hooked, as Ann meets Patient 34 and starts to delve into his case. Just the fact that he has no name means there is a story there, one she is determined to uncover. But her investigation is made more difficult by her mistrusting and suspicious co-workers. It’s a tension filled plot and kept me on edge throughout. As for Kiro, his story is heartbreaking. Abandoned as a child, forced to fend for himself, he showed remarkable resilience and is waiting for the moment he can finally break free. He trusts no-one, even Ann who talks to him as if he can hear her (which he can, though no one else suspects). When Ann figures out who Kiro is and is involved in his escape from the hospital he still can’t trust her, having experienced betrayal from reporters before. Kiro’s sense of hearing and smell are like an animal, honed from years in the wild. He knows when Ann is near him whether she is afraid – or aroused. Not trusting her doesn’t mean he is not interested in her being his mate. The result is behavior of the highest alpha male order, and some super steamy scenes between them. Kiro doesn’t mince words. He wants her and he is very clear on what he expects in return. Yet with that dominant personality comes the ultra protectiveness of the dominant male and the realization and understanding that he will do anything to keep her safe. There are scenes in the story from other characters' points of view, notably the bad guy Bloody Lazarus who is hunting Kiro to put an end to the Dragusha brothers prophecy once and for all. There are also scenes from Aleksio and Viktor as they follow the trail. It’s definitely not a sweet and light romance, though there are some tender scenes amid the sex and violence. The setting is unique for a mafia story – first at the mental hospital and then out in the wilderness as Kiro tries to find his way ‘home’ with Ann at his side. There are lots of twists and turns before we get to a happy ending for Kiro and Ann, and the conclusion to the brothers' story. It’s an intense and exciting read!

    Gripping & Intense!

I have a burning desire to write this review in all caps because even though it's been several days since I have finished this book, it's not out of my system and I still want to shout about it! First of all, this book is #3 in a series of standalones. Can you read this without reading the first two? Yes, you absolutely can. Annika does a great job of filling in the information that is needed from Kiro and alternative POVs. It's really quite brilliant. But if you have time I strongly encourage you to start at the beginning and read all three books because....WOW! Mafia romance isn't normally my jam, but dark romance is and it also falls in that category. This series is definitely one of my top recommendations for the year. Dark, edgy and wildly sexy. It was all so intense and devoured them all! I have to say I loved Savage Mafia Prince the most of the three. By the end of book 1 (Dark Mafia Prince) I was hungry for this book. By the end of book 2 (Wicked Mafia Prince) I was downright DESPERATE for it! And it did not disappoint. I was ready to jump out of my skin from start to finish. But now that it's all over I'm just really sad because I'm so not ready to let these characters go. I think that is the very definition of a whopper of a book hangover!

    Best book I've read recently!

Annika literally paints such a story that you feel like you’re part of it! Savage Mafia Prince is full of action and suspense & is probably my favorite book out of the series! I won’t rehash the plot, but brother Kiro is so strong in mind & body…he just about takes your breath away! I just can’t get enough of him. Annika is so talented and I just love everything she writes. Great book! I’d recommend picking up all three in the series, but this is a standalone for your reading pleasure! ;)

    Couldn`t put it down!

This was an insane ride! It started out with a slow build, then there was the first dip, where Kiro saves Ann, then a build up as they make there way, a few twists to avoid the bad guys. It seems pretty calm, like floating down a lazy river, taking in the scenery, and then, bam, down a waterfall and then it churns you, and churns you, and churns you. By the time you crawl off the ride at the end, you are strung out, wrung out, and exhausted! Needless to say, I loved Ann and Kiro`s story. When Ann realizes, and then Kiro realizes, that he isn`t alone, that he has brothers who are desperately looking for him and want him, it was one of the most touching moments I had read in forever, ever. The attraction between Kiro and Ann is there from the start, and it is a slow burn, then when it finally ignites, boy, it catches you by surprise and consumes you. It then returns to that slow simmer until it flares again. It is always there and you get anticipatory stress waiting for it when they interact We also get a few different POV`s beside Ann and Kiro. This was perfect, because so much of this story was shaped by what was happening outside of the world of Ann and Kiro. You needed it to know how all these other characters are doing in relation to the factors outside of their control. This was an amazing ending to the story of the three brothers, and to finally know what happened to Kiro, as he was always the unknown. Loved, loved, loved it!
