  • Great read

5 star review of Say You’re Mine (The Gallaghers #1) Layla Hagen  I was so excited when I learnt that Layla Hagen had a new series releasing and I jumped at the opportunity to read and review Say You’re Mine. If this book is anything g to go by then Ms.Hagen is off to a great start. Ms.Hagen’s writing is strong, with characters that are easy to relate to and I found myself totally invested in the story that she wove from the first to the last chapter. Set in the rock world, this is Brayden Clarke and Isabelle Gallagher‘s story. Brayden is the lead single of one of the world's top rock bands and Isabelle is hired to help Brayden and the other members relate to their fans. Neither of them expected to be attracted to one another and this complicates matters, particularly as Brayden is concerned that his fame and lifestyle will scare Isabelle away. Despite not being impressed by his fame or money, Isabelle finds herself drawn to Brayden. I loved them both, but Isabelle in particular was a favourite as she is focused and determined to succeed at her job. I enjoyed the banter between them which had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. This book was steamy, passionate, witty and ticked the boxes fro me. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

  • Just perfect!

Ever read a story where you get so immersed in the characters and the way rhe book unfolds that life can just pass by without taking notice? Every time I picked up this book, I was lost to the world around me and its such a great feeling. I just love the way the author writes, you genuinely feel the way the characters feel and honestly I really didn’t want the book to end. This is Isabelle Gallagher’s story and Ive been anxiously awaiting her book. I just love the way she is. Her unique caring ability as a counselor, her sass and her family and friends make her an extremely likeable character and one I wouldn’t mind being friends with. When an opportunity to help the band GreenFire with their online presence arises, needless to say the way she joins them is wonderful. Isabelle has the amazing ability to make you feel comfortable in any situation and helping the band shows just how good her talent is. Brayden is the front man of the band and right from the start their chemistry is undeniable. They click. It also becomes increasingly apparent that these two are meant for each other. Will the fame cause issues with their burdening relationship? This book is the perfect start to a new series by the author and it should be high on your must read list.

  • Perfect!

Perfect start this new series! So sweet and sexy with very little drama. Just a really nice entertaining story about Brayden the rock star and Isabelle the counselor and how they simply could not resist each other. Their lives are so different but they manage to blend them so perfectly. They have so many beautiful moments together that just make you feel their love. I love their families and how important they are to them. The guys in the band are awesome and so are Isabelle’s siblings. I honestly love this couple so much and every moment of their journey to a HEA. Just a wonderful love story that filled my heart. Can’t wait for more of the Gallagher’s!

  • This book....

It has been one of the hottest books Layla has written. Brayden and Isabelle basically melted my kindle between their hot, easy and playful banter and their loving ways. I can only imagine how hot her siblings' stories will be. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

  • Love This New Serie Starter

I absolutely loved Say You’re Mine! Say You’re Mine is the first book in Layla Hagen’s new The Gallaghers series. I am not sure how Layla Hagen does it, but I loved every page of Say You’re Mine and could not put it down. Layla Hagen definitely did not disappoint with Say You’re Mine and has once again delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I love in sizzling romance stories. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, big loving families and friends, who always support one another, and wonderful characters? Layla Hagen continues to deliver all that and so much more. I love that The Gallaghers series is a spin-off from the Very Irresistible Bachelor series and I have loved every book in that series. Layla Hagen has once again shown that she in an amazing storyteller. I really enjoy how she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love knowing what the main characters are thinking and feeling. I love the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the bittersweet ones that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Say You’re Mine is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a Layla Hagen love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. I really love how the name of the book is incorporated into the story, with a song that Brayden writes for Isabelle. Say You’re Mine is the love story of Isabelle Gallagher, psychologist and New York City tour guide and the sister of Josie Gallagher and Brayden Clarke, member of the band GreenFire. I love the light moments when Isabelle and Brayden meet for the first time and how Isabelle puts him in his place. GreenFire’s manager, Sasha is looking to hire Isabelle to perform some behavioral analyses on the band and their fans, but Isabelle is not a fan of band. I loved the band’s reaction to that news. The record label execs think their sales should be better, and Sasha is hoping that GreenFire can give their fans what they want while still maintaining their privacy. After her initial meeting with the band, Brayden invites Isabelle to go bowling with them, in exchange for Brayden agreeing to meet with her. At the bowling lanes sparks fly between Isabelle and Liam. Isabelle accepts the job, but at a cost to her own privacy. Things heat up quickly as Isabelle and Brayden spend more time together and the band implements her suggestions. I love Isabelle and Brayden’s love story, and how the plot twist changes things for Brayden. With Isabelle’s guidance Brayden slowly changes how he can have it all and let go of some of the fears that have possessed him for a while. Layla Hagen creates such wonderful and memorable characters and has once again done this in Say You’re Mine. I love Isabelle and Brayden’s story and the descriptions of the NY settings. Say You’re Mine felt like a family reunion and catching up with all the other characters from the other books in the Very Irresistible Bachelor series. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Say You’re Mine, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoy all the interactions among the Winchester siblings and the Gallagher siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Layla Hagen truly delivered a book that was so worthy of Isabelle. Say You’re Mine is filled with all the elements that I have come to love and expect in Layla Hagen stories. I love the bittersweet and poignant moments, as well as the surprise plot twists. Say You’re Mine was a wonderful story. So glad that Brayden let go of his past disappointments and fears and found his one, and happily ever after. I loved Brayden’s proposal and how he proposed to Isabelle. I cannot wait to see which Gallagher brother will find their happily ever after love story. I highly recommend this sizzling romance.
