    Oh Luca!!!! Love him!

Oh Luca!!!! I have been looking forward to Luca’s book and Ms. Madden and Ms. Schwehm did not disappoint! Luca was first introduced in Finding Mr. Wrong (Jude’s book) and then again in Taming Mr. Flirt (Kyle’s book), I was so excited when I found out he was getting his own story. He is a HOT Italian who, OMG! Is such a romantic!!!! Every girls dream guy!!! Sabrina is a single mom to an adorable little boy, who by the way helps his mom out 😉; but, Sabrina has been disillusioned with life and relationships. Can Luca help her see life with new eyes or will she be too scared to take a chance? Go #oneclick Scoring Mr. Romeo....and of course #oneclick Finding Mr. Wrong and Taming Mr. Flirt. Sweet and utterly romantic!

A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm delivered one seriously romantic new book boyfriend with Luca in Scoring Mr. Romeo! From the moment I met him in Finding Mr. Wrong, I knew I would get swept away by Luca. Madden and Schwehm didn’t disappoint and, I quickly fell under this Italian’s spell. To be honest, this book caught me off guard, heading in a direction I definitely hadn’t predicted, but the authors kept me invested and quickly proved why Luca, Sabrina, and Mikey made the perfect family. I adored Sabrina and her son, Mikey. There is no one more fierce or protective than a single mom and Sabrina was all that and so much more. I appreciated the raw emotion and genuine hesitancy that the heroine displayed, her dating decisions revolving around her son, first and foremost. Madden and Schwehm did a great job capturing the special bond between Sabrina and Mikey, and it was their incredible love for one another that struck me with this story. I also enjoyed Sabrina’s relationships with Cassie and Becky. These friendships allowed her to let loose and gave the reader a glimpse of Sabrina’s lighter, more carefree side. Luca, on the other hand, was every bit the swoon-worthy hero I expected and then some. His patience with Sabrina and total understanding of always coming second in her life made my heart flutter, only for him to turn around and leave me hot and bothered a few pages later. He was very much an old-school romantic, and it was fun to see how he altered his plans to include Mikey. I definitely would have liked to explore this character more on a personal level. The authors didn’t unravel his past, motivations, etc. as thoroughly as they did with their previous heroes so, while Luca was undeniably sweet and delightfully sexy, I didn’t connect with him as I’d hoped. Scoring Mr. Romeo had a very different vibe from the first two books from Madden and Schwehm. While Finding Mr. Wrong and Taming Mr. Flirt were very much romantic comedies, this book felt heavier. There was still a sprinkle of humor amidst all the romance and sizzle, but the single mom aspect raised the emotional stakes. Madden and Schwehm continue to demonstrate themselves to be a formidable writing team, their voices combining to create something memorable and overflowing with feels. Luca and Sabrina’s journey served up plenty of great banter, lots of melt-your-heart romance, a rollercoaster of emotions, and just the right amount of steam. Scoring Mr. Romeo is another memorable love story from A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm!

Romantic and funny, great feels love story!

This is the third book in the Mr. Wrong series and it just keeps getting better, if that’s even possible! I was hooked from the first page and blew through it never wanting it to end! I loved the story of a single mom that was a widow finding love with a beautiful, sexy Italian man that loved her 5-year-old son first. He was so good with him. Not only was it a beautiful love story but it was funny! This book! Luca is all that a book boyfriend could be and just what Sabrina needed. He is sweet, attentive, sexy, romantic in ways that just made me melt and he whispers in Italian, now that’s seduction! The biggest thing that touched me the most is that he fell in love with the little boy first. He always had that little mans well being placed first. I know I said that before, but it bears repeating. He is a wonderful family man, loyal friend and sexy as hell. Enough said. The man is a keeper I don’t want to give anything away about the story as the synopsis does a great job of setting up the story. The reader should go in with the promise of a great feels, sigh inducing read and it certainly did that for me. I highly recommend this romantic, great feels love story. I promise you will fall in love with the characters as much as I did, especially Luca! These authors outdid themselves with this one!

Scoring Mr. Romeo is romance personified!

Scoring Mr. Romeo is by far THE best in this series. A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm have certainly found their rhythm as they beautifully crafted a book boyfriend in Luca Benedetto who is clearly the epitome of romantic. Believe me when I tell you: this man has it all going on and then some. He's not like his best buds Jude and Kyle. He doesn't need snark or a quick wit to win a woman over. On the contrary, Luca is all about the slow seduction, the craving to figure out exactly what a woman needs and how to make her feel adored. It doesn't get much better than that!! Oh my goodness. To be cherished by Luca is something extraordinary. And never in a million years did Sabrina Callahan ever expect to feel like that from any man. This single mom of the whirlwind named Mikey was truly thrown for a loop when she meets the dashing yet humble Italian dreamboat by accident at her son's school. And as their worlds seemingly collide over and over again, it became apparent that both Sabrina and Luca might just have a magic together neither even knew they wanted. Scoring Mr. Romeo is a slow-burn romance like no other. The journey Luca and Sabrina take to try and meld their lives is never easy but it is oh so worth each twist and turn. They have a great support system in Cassie and Becky and the bits of brevity thrown in from the foursome that is Jude, Kyle, Brae and especially that crazy broad Vanessa make this book complete. There is such love between all of them and I really adored watching as they took Sabrina into their group and made her feel welcome. But it's the swoonworthy actions of Luca that brought me to my knees over and over again. Sabrina knows what she has and despite some reservations because of a former marriage gone bad, she knows a good man when she sees him. Luca is charm personified. Not only he is considerate, sweet and tender but mamma mia, the man is off the rails sexy. I honestly don't think I'll recover from the 'Luca effect' any time soon. And trust me, no one would blame me. Scoring Mr. Romeo is a must read. A book that will melt your heart and leave you in a big puddle of love. 5 huge stars!!

Definitely my favorite in the series

A.M. Madden is one of my favorite authors and this series she is writing with Joanne Schwehm is so much fun. But to be honest, I think this one is my all time favorite from the series. There is just something about Luca that makes him irresistible. And the story line in itself is incredible. It is filled with romance, laughter, heartbreak, scorching hotness and an adorable little boy that will simply melt your heart. While I was reading the first two books in the series, I've always thought that Luca and Cassie will end up together. So I was a little bit disappointed when the authors went into a different direction. But once I started reading Scoring Mr. Romeo, it was just so obvious that Sabrina and Luca are meant to be. Well, to be honest, my first thought was that it was Luca and Mikey who were meant to be :D It was obvious from there very first meet when Mikey left his green and blue handprints on Luca's khaki trousers framing his package beautifully :D And the second meet was even better but I will leave that for you to find out :D The relationship between Luca and Sabrina is definitely not an easy one. Though Luca is a droolworthy dominant alpha ready to take charge when necessary and be the perfect romantic when the occasion calls for it, he still does mistakes from time to time. Unfortunately, those mistakes trigger Sabrina's insecurities as a single mother and a widow. Though she survived the heartache and betrayal, the scars left behind have not healed completely and that makes her question the possibility for a new beginning and a new HEA with one incredible man. which of course leads to more heartbreak. So be prepared. As a whole, I really loved the story. Luca is definitely a BBF that I can dream about and Mikey is just so adorable :) And it doesn't hurt that Sabrina is a strong woman, trying to overcome her insecurities and fight her way to her HEA with the one man who makes her feel alive and loved. I think it is the best conclusion to the series. Though I hope the authors will tell the stories of the rest of the friends. My priority is definitely Cassie and Dante. I am pretty sure that one is going to be a blast :)
