    Scoring Off The Field

Scoring Off The Field is a friends to lovers story that I quite enjoyed. It's hot, steamy and has a bit of unrequited longing. I loved all of that including the characters but what kept me submerged was the author's ability to create vivid mental pictures that engaged the other senses. At the beginning of the book she described the hero, Dom's scent and all I could think was my nose could live there, right in the crook of his neck because he smells so good. I couldn't literally smell him, he isn't real but in my mind's eye I could through her words. That's what she does, fully immerses the reader in the world she created. I adore that about her writing and cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I definitely recommend this book. ARC provided by publisher in exchange for a honest review

    Awesome

This friends to lovers story is an absolute winner! Dom and Tennyson are great characters and you can just feel how much they care about each other. Tennyson has been in love with Dom most of her life but he's always kept her squarely in the friend zone. Dom is a no relationship guy and Tenny knows she needs more though so if it can't be with Dom then she needs to find someone else. Finally Tenny has decided it's time for her to move on and find a life of her own. This throws Dom's world off it's axis and he fears losing Tenny forever. How much is he willing to risk to keep Tenny in his life? Highly recommended read.

    OMG this book was wonderful!

This is the first book I've read by Naimi Simone, but definately not the last. She grabbed my attention from the very first page, and kept it through all the ups and downs till Tenny and Dom get their HEA. Tenny, Dom and the secondary characters were all believable and I look forward to reading Sophiaand Zeph's story in Scoring with the Wrong Twin. If you are looking for a fun sexy friends to lovers romance you'll want this book on your TBR list. I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

Can't wait for the next one.

In all honesty I really wanted to whack Dom upside the head a few times. How could he be so selfishly oblivious to Tenny's feelings for so long? And his was a classic reaction of "didn't know what you had till it's gone" or rather going as it is in this case. Tennyson must have had nerves of steel and a heart of gold to put up with his shenanigans for so long. But she gives him a good run around when she agrees to the 'benefits' of their relationship. And I really enjoyed seeing him finally make an effort to keep her in his life. She deserved all that attention after what he put her through all those years This series is really turning out to be loads of fun and I look forward to the next in the series. great read

Another great book in the series. This one about best friend Dom and Tenny. Tenny has hots and deeper emotion toward her best friend for years and decides to stand on her feet without Dom. Dom is of course in shock he doesn't understand Tenny and because all the events start seeing Tenny in a different light not so much like a best friend but as a woman with curves in the right places. All the sudden attraction is hard to fight and they start a physical relationship which is for Tenny, not enough. I liked both Dom and Tenny. She was really strong to stand for herself and although loved him fiercely she saw that she must let Dom go. Dom was also great I loved that he came to the conclusion that she loves her on her own and that she is the reason that keeps him going and fighting. Great story. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
