    Awesome

Loved this book! What was suppose to be one night turned into a lifetime connection when an unexpected pregnancy results from Ronin and and Kim's one night of passion. Ronin a rough and tough football player with a heart of gold. Kim appears to be tough as nails and that may be true in business but when it comes to her personal life she's scared and insecure. Can these two wounded souls open their hearts and let love in? This book is wonderfully written, scorchingly hot, with a romance at the center that will steal your heart. I highly recommend it to everyone.

    Pretty funny H, complex h

*honestly and voluntarily reviewed the ARC I received from NetGalley* It's a 3.5 for me. I liked that it read like a romcom because Ronin is so FUNNY and he thinks everything is a joke. He's super laid-back according to his mates, and though he's a bit of a player in the field of love, he's always honest and nice about it, and I liked that. I liked that as the story progressed, it showed why he did what he did until he met Kim. And Kim, this serious, elegant woman that he falls for at first glance, is complicated. They've both been hurt, but by different circumstances, so they live their lives according to it. And it's interesting. I actually could've done without the extra drama because they're both already so sad with their past, but I shouldn't complain about it too much, considering that life doesn't care if you've had enough. I liked that Ronin kept it funny. His sarcastic, end-my-misery-now monologues with himself when he's with his sisters or friends was hilarious and it kept it light when Kim would get a little dark with her POV. It was like seriousness and funny trying to balance itself out. I also enjoyed that a lot of the other couples by this author got brought up by Ronin to make Kim feel better. Getting their lives' issues set up from an outsider's perspective was really funny and in a way, it also acted as the comedic relief when Kim and Ronin would have their misunderstandings are scary moments. Overall, it's a recommend if you like reading about those brotherly feels among athletes, relationship drama, family drama and sarcastic wits.

    Just LOVED these two

I think Ronan and Kim are now my favourite couple in the WAGS series. This book is so utterly romantic and sweet. Even with all the baggage these two are carrying they manage to create a love that eventually saves them from themselves. Naima's books always have an unusual dynamic between the couple that forces them apart at first but ultimately is essential to bringing them and keeping them together. Also, I loved that I got to catch up with Alex and Morgan from The Bachelor Auction series once again. Never did like Malcolm Bishop and his treatment of Kim just reinforced all that dislike. Love these crossovers. I received an Advanced Reviewers Copy from #NetGalley for voluntary review consideration.

    Another score in this series

Another score in this series. This is my favorite book so far in the WAG’s stand alone series. Naima Simone did not disappoint. The characters and story kept me so interested that I did not want to put it down. Ronin Palamo is a star player for Washington Warriors football team who is very close to his family. Kim Matlock is a divorcee from another football player that had sworn off all sports men. She has a great job as a VP in her family owned business that she doesn’t have a great relationship with her father. These two meet by accident do not exchange last names, but decide on one night together. When they go their separate ways little do they know that Kim will end up pregnant. They try to just co-parent but will it become more. I highly recommend this book to anyone along with the other books in this series and also Kim’s brother and sister in law are from a millionaire at midnight.

    Loved!

LOVED this book!!! This is a sexy romance with the hotness off the charts! Ronin is a pro football player and also a player off the field, while Kim is rigid and has locked her heart away after it was destroyed by her father and her ex-husband. So when the two of them meet, it's just for one night of adult fun....until it's not because there's a baby involved. I loved the characters and felt invested in their story. I wanted them to have a HEA ending, almost as much as I wanted Kim to do something about her father. This is a well told tale that fans of the genre will love and want to put at the top of their summer reading list. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
