    Scot on the Run

I am glad I chose this book to review. I have read a couple of Janice's books to read before. I liked the setting in Scotland. Who wouldn't! She managed to throw in some special places. Bella meets Ian when he runs from paparazzi. He is the 2nd eligible bachelor in Great Britain! She is mad because she was supposed to have a quiet vacation and now she has a tall, gorgeous genius engineer. After that her friend came to ask her to hunt for her 4 year old son . Bella and Ian grabbed gear and head out at night. He uses a heat seeker that he designed. Major Spoiler. They found him and then Bella and Ian get a bit closer. They turn tourist and go together to find the important places. Bella is scared as Ian is getting a Medal from Queen Elizabeth. Finley and his new wife McKenzie come home and Bella scares Ian away. You will have to read this to the end to see how it ends! You will be glad you read this story. Enjoy!I volunteered to read and review this book.

    Contemporary Scottish Romance

Scot on the Run by Janice Maynard Kilted Heroes #4 Two very intelligent nerds find love in Scotland…eventually. Bella is housesitting for her brother when a bachelor with money and fame that he is running from shows up at the door. He is a friend and customer of her brother and has been told he has is welcome any time should he need a place to stay. So, he moves in. The two have a prickly relationship from the beginning with some chemistry but many glitches along the way. With sightseeing, missed and mixed-up communication, a lost child to find, a visit with the queen and other things the story provides much to contemplate. There is an eventual HEA but it is not smooth sailing for either Bella or Ian in this story. I liked the story but it is probably the least favorite of the series for me. I found Bella snippy and hard to like and Ian awkward with both having moments of being more and better than they usually seemed in the story. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington – Lyrical Shine for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3 Stars
