    Such surprises inside!

T.J Talbot is freaking out! He is watching his best friend, Frankie marry the woman of both their dreams, and she won't even talk to him. Suddenly things are about to get real. Shannon Moore has thought that T.J. did not like her. Only wants to annoy her. Takes her husband away from her time with him when he is home. Until tragedy strikes and suddenly Frankie is gone. T.J. promised Frankie he would love and look after Shannon and the baby. While trying to fulfill his wishes, more trouble abounds. Shannon's mom appears to hate him. Terrorists are gunning for military family members. T.J. is just trying to heal and do what his best friend asked him to do. Until he fell in love.... Shannon does not know what to believe. Is it the promise that keeps him around? Would he love her if Frankie had not asked him to watch over her? Would he even have bothered to check on them? Trust is the key and they are learning to trust one another. More problems and surprises are in store. I sure do not want to tell you everything! I can tell you there is never a dull moment and the heat between them is smokin' hot! This is book # 8 in the Seal Team Brotherhood series. ***This ARC copy was given FREE by Netgalley.com. Second chances and mending broken hearts

*Audiobook Review* Special Operator T.J. Talbot makes a promise to his friend, a fellow SEAL. He promises to look after his wife and baby. T.J. was brought up in the foster care system and almost ruined his chance at becoming a SEAL. He never thought life would allow him to ever have a happily ever after. He is forever watching on as his friends find true love and walk down the aisle. So how is he going to pull off this assignment fate has chosen to give him, especially when the woman he is supposed to take care of wants no part of his help. Shannon cherishes the baby she is carrying especially when the baby’s father is killed, and now the baby is all she has left of her only true love. She is at all not prepared for the attention she receives from the community. Definitely not from T.J. Talbot, she is focused solely on preparing for her baby’s birth and raising her child without a father. However, when Shannon and the baby become endangered T.J. is the man by her side and he is determined to claim the family, he was always meant to have. This was an emotional story that kept me interested throughout. TJ is a hot Navy SEAL whose best friend from childhood Frankie is killed in action. Before he dies, he asks TJ to take care of his wife Shannon and their soon to be born baby. Of course, TJ’s intention is to honor his friend’s wishes, but Shannon does not make it easy for him. She is determined to go at life with her baby alone now that her husband is gone. TJ has many issues from his past that he needs to move on from before he can have his happily ever after. Even with all his own issues he will not let anything stop him from fulfilling his best friends wishes, but falling in love with Shannon and wanting the family that should have been Frankie’s was never his intention. There are many tears of sadness in this story, but also tears of joy. I love a book that really gets me feeling for the characters. This story is about a man who decides it's time he become a better man. It’s about second chances and allowing wounds to heal. You do not have to read the other books in the series, each one can be read as stand-alone. *Received an Audio ARC in exchange for an honest review*

quite a different book to my usual read. It came as a freebie, didn't think I would like it, and after many months of idling in my library decided to try it and couldn't put it down. I married the UK's equivalent

    Love the SEAL Collections

Another great story with a load of testosterone and characters. Each book I have had an opportunity to read has kept me glued to the story. They are so hard to put down because of the action that draws you into them.

    Seal's Promise

Seal's Promise by Sharon Hamilton Start out with other works by the author and a synopsis of the book. Enjoy watching home of the brave tv show and seals and swat teams shows as they are go getters. Play hard and play at fun also. Love hearing of contributions to the projects to aid those who return to us in the USA from the wars. Frankie and Shannon were getting married and she knew she'd be marrying the rest of the Seal team. Story also follows TJ who's a Seal on the team and we learn of his past history of growing up in foster homes and how much he missed from being raised in a typical family setting. TJ is the godfather of the baby girl she's due to have but Frankie dies in a mission and TJ is the last person she wants around. Very explicit sexual scenes as he tries to comfort her and she welcomes it. When she travels back home to her parents he wonders if it's him she's running from... Wish there was more of the story rather than 70% of bed time. Interesting learning more about TJ's family... Then the real action starts taking over the majority of the rest of the book. Excerpt from the next book in the series is included. Author bio, other works by the author and reviews. Free via Kobo and this is my honest opinion.
