  • Searching for Sylvia Lee

Loved this book. The characters were so life like, the story so sadly real; wish things like this wouldn’t happen but they do

  • A great read

I really enjoyed this book. Each character is unique and real and I know people just like them. As I’ve have been to all the cities featured in the story, it was easy to imagine the settings giving the read that much more depth. I really liked the technique of the story being told from the perspective of three different women.

  • Searching for Sylvie Lee

A well written culturally sensitive book that is a bit of a challenge to read. The story line is good although perhaps overdrawn at times. The events almost force the rather dependent younger sister to grow up and move on. Sylvie is presented as almost too perfect to be true but the whole story works
